I can just look at new hires and determine if they will be able to make it in the job. They all have the same look that is hard to describe but you know it when you see it.
I've got a dude like that at work. Absolutely terrible to talk to, always weird as hell, but dependable as fuck when it comes to just giving him a task to do day in day out.
been there, done that. nice guy, hard worker, always went off site for lunch. one day he didn't come back. got a bad dose of whatever he was taking parked in a dollar general parking lot,, passed out, his foot went down on the gas in his car, car eventually caught fire. he survived it. not sure what happened to him after that.
Sounds like my company, doesn't hire anyone, but when they do, its about a 10% chance of it being a decent person and not using drugs or no call no show a bunch lol
I will never submit a suggestion anonymous or not for any company because i've seen too many times that someone would suggest something to increase productivity and to get their wish but with increased productivity everyone's KPIs went through the roof and people hated them for the change, and I've seen suggestions end up costing someone their job because their boss/owner felt threatened by the initiative. my current company has mandatory anonymous job/boss surveys we're supposed to fill out quarterly (online "anonymous" form) and every time they're a few people short and I guarantee you I have never filled one out and I never will.
Company throws a pizza party for their employees after a record breaking profit session: Disgruntled employee: I thought we were getting raises? Supervisor: raise? The only raise you’ll see buddy is raising a plastic cup of room temperature soda!
I work in a foundry. Average guy probably burns several thousand calories per day at work in a fairly hot environment. Our company did this and replaced decent food with "healthy choice" bs. Most cals per item are about 500. Averages around 350. I hope they feel good about themselves when we get home and binge more than we would normally to make up for the deficit in energy your body needs after a day like that. But don't worry. It's "healthy".
Yeah, Tony’s Pizza and blue bunny ice cream. I lived on that and Marlboros for a good little stretch there when I was parking cars at a hospital. Thing is when they went healthy, they let us keep the pizzas but they banned smoking on campus. I said how is this going to work, at a hospital of all places? People should feel relaxed and comfortable, not stressed out having nicotine fits.
We never had vending machines, or maybe we did but I never used them because I couldn’t afford it. Been so long I forgot, because that was back when you could work your way through college.
@@BawkBawkBawk666 Especially if it’s union. “We can’t do that. We’re waiting for someone from the (whatever) dept.” If I had a nickel for every time that was uttered 😂
