@1:08 If you select "Add Modifier" instead of "Add Part" and then you can make the two objects perfectly flush. Alternatively, once you "Add Part" you can right click the part and select "Change Type" to switch the logo to a "Modifier".
HI, I am using OrcaSlicer, wish to add a text on the surface. Somehow it is confirmed in object (NOT global), but the button of adding text is DIMED and disabled, it CANNOT be clicked. 😞Do you know what happened to this setting, how to enable this text???
Thanks for the explanation. 3:20 - something happend to the mic. 6:15 - It's not clear what you mean by "lower your quality". What does that number correspond to in terms of layer height? Is a lower number more quality, or more speed?

@@knownchild Be wary of using ctrl+a as it will select every item on every build plate including items out side of build plates. In more advanced projects using multiple plates, test iterations it's common to over select items. But for condensed projects " select all" is the way to do it. There is also ctrl+mouse click and select/ unselect items. Shift+ mouse click (first and last) work fine. And you can do this on the build plate or in the Process: objects area. Thank you! I'm gonna make so so much stuff! I also have a graphic design tablet so I can add my own flair to my prints! My first thing I'm gonna make is a holder for my laser engraver/cutter bed for my plasma torch! Cause I built a huge 3ft x 3ft cutting/engraving bed! I'm guessing for more 3d things I just take my 4 sides and put them on the Corresponding side?
I'm not seeing Assemble in the mouse menu but merge instead. There IS an assemble menu up by the paint area. Did they add more features to assemble then rename what YOU used to Merge? Trying to get a restaurant logo on the Mouse kit. Also do you know if there's a way to put stuff on a curved surface without hurting the original object. Aka i want to put the logo on the mouse without effecting the shape of the mouse
Hello. The latest version of the slicer calls what used to be "assemble", "merge". There is another assemble which does a completely different thing so it can be ignore for this purpose. So in short use right click, MERGE not Assemble. As for the curving a logo there is a way to do it. I recommend using an SVG file I have a few videos showing the steps with modifier or mesh boolean. Off the subject / I have settings for my nozzle temperature, and when I slice and print it prints at a different temperature? Polymaker active foaming LW PLA
Hello. Great question. There are a few places to look at the nozzle temp before slicing printing 1.On the printer itself (cant change it) 2. in the slicer under the device tab (cant change it) 3. When you click the edit(pencil button) on the prepare screen next to the filament type. if you go into it you will see a few options. Recommended nozzle temp( this willl not change the temp) *Underneath that initial layers and other layers. Here is where you make the change*. If you want your model printing at 230 set both values to 230. I would recommend making a profile from here with the save(disk) icon after making the change and naming it. Also you can manually change the temp when the print starts laying down filament.
Hello, Thank you for the question. While this video predates the A1 you can add it to lan only and still control it with a local PC remotely with the settings in the video. It's basically the same setup. @@ashleys3dprintshop Thanks, I will give it a shot again. Currently it will not show up with a PIN on my printer screen to be able to sync it to the Bambu Studio app.
Lets say you have a coaster with an image on the face but want to add a logo svg to the other side of the coaster (ie the non face side can this be done without it impacting the face side?
What do I do, to get the writing flush with the object, and go all the way through it? I've got a logitech g915 keyboard (I don't recommend it) One of the keycaps broke and I printed a new one from makerworld, which is very nice, but it's blank, I was thinking if I got some clear filament, I could put the symbol back on the key and have the keyboard light shine through

Hi, new to printing and trying seek best advise. I'm currently making keychains, I printed one on the standard settings with .4 nozzle at 0.8 fine setting. Came out good but I know can do better, it has lots of details, would 0.30 in quality settings do better, I had mine at 0.45. also need thick so doesn't snap easily.
I can't use the "dovel" connector, it only shows a little darker color disc without any height, and give me some error about it. I even tried with a fresh cube. Bambu Lab version 1.9.3.50
I would have to investigate. I am on the current version of Studio and dovetail looks fine from my end. Does it happen on other models? How about a simple primitive like a cube? Can you rotate angle or manipulate the cut plane at all?
Thank you for the instructions, I really enjoy learning it. One thing I should ask, because I found no way how to do it, how you make a series of spaced dovetail, like when it is do a joint of two walls 90 degrees of a wooden drawer?
So I have been digging deeper into dovetail for months and have not successfully gotten it to the level of woodworking dovetails. While simple cuts are fine, multiple cuts have been less than ideal to complete failures. CAD programs may be better suited for the task.

Hey hey. There is a very simple way to modify he connector Right click the connector and "clone" it The clone disconnects the connector from the main model and you can modify from there.
