Hi, I’m an PT, Coach and enthusiastic runner who also loves lifting. So happy to have you here! Free strength for runners workouts, advice and vlogs each week so subscribe to be apart of the family.
Bad policy to be on one of the mountains in the dark, especially for the inexperienced. Start time up the Ben was wrong, start off at 5pm or for the fit, 6pm in high summer
Hey Carla, just wanted to let you know that I'll be running my very first race in two days. 💪I'm gonna run 10K as well. Your vlog was super helpful, especially with all the confusing information about start points in the race guide. Thanks for sharing your experience! 🏃♂
Great job ! Scafell pike is the hardest one i reckon just dont stop going up 🤕🤣 All 3 are amazing !! The summit at Ben nevis is like no other though especially in poor visibility 🫣
Didn't like this review. The audio at the event was poor. Couldn't hear anything the people were saying. I would have enjoyed actually seeing the shoes being put on and tested, outside would have been nice.
Great video but you kinda failed the “challange” you have to summit and get to the bottom of all 3 within 24 you stop the timer at the bottom of snodown or whatever order you choose
I’m doing the great Manchester run in may and I swear I’m gonna have the biggest panic attack didn’t realise it was such a big deal as I know it’s going to be 😳🤯
I have watched it this video once a month for the last year. It is brilliant! Yes it was so cold that morning and I think you did yourself a favour by starting early. You got yourself warmed up and didnt get blazed by the sun until you were 14/15km in, and you finished an hour ahead of me. My start meant as soon as we got to 7 miles (11km) it was cooking, and then I spend an extra hour burning up in the sun. It was bad and the cramps and hip-flexers were driving me crazy. Still, it was a better course than 2022 and 2024 looks to be even better. Well done Carla, you got a great result. Well derserved! Good luck to anyone doing it this year. Hope its 12 degrees and calm for you !
I particularly liked the part where you realise just how steep and relentlessly uphill Scafell is. We did the challenge last September and our time was 23 hours 26 mins. Great video.
Ah is that what you have been doing. You didn't let on when I saw you at parkrun. Paris is on my 'to do list' so following this with interest. Good luck with the training and the race.
Bravo Carla 👏👏 congratulations hun, really enjoyed watching ur vlog and love the way u broke down the race into ‘manageable’ chunks might give this ago myself, n rather than run equal splits step it up abit in each block - thanku for the tip! And congrats again hun 💪💥🫶
I own a pair and they are pure joy to step into. They have the best tongue offered in a running shoe ever. I’ve had my pair for about four months and I have zero complaints. They make me feel happy every time I lace them up. 😃
Hello! I’m planning to buy the same pair soon. But the one I had ordered (returned them) had a few glue marks on the sole area, mainly near the toe side. Is this normal? I went to the store and found the same issue on all the pairs they had. Also - thank you so much for the beautiful review. ✨
Perfectly timed for me Carla. Gave up boot camp about a year ago, bridges burned well and truly, and been thinking it's about getting back to strength and conditioning training ever since. This looks like a real good one to do so thanks.
You've convinced me, Carla. In 4 years I'll be running Brighton marathon, but first, I need to finish the quadruple (5k,10K,half and full) at Southampton that normally happens on the same weekend 😂 it was freezing cold on that weekend. I can't imagine running by the seafront with those temperatures. Well done on your PB.
