The population in London has had a profound rise in the last few years. And with that, so has the city’s violent crime statistics. Cops on the ground are maxed out at all fronts. So it’s no surprise that they are increasingly turning to dogs to help keep order. Dogs now go where officers fear to tread.
Send in the Dogs follows real dogs, in real operations, fighting real crime. We see them finding drugs, explosives, cash, and contraband; flying in helicopters, taking part in high speed car chases, and wearing cameras to flush out armed robbers. For the first time, viewers can see how clever dogs catch criminals.
Cops in UK can just kick in a door without a warrant? Just cuz the dog makes a hit on the apartment? Thats crazy, since it appears so! In the U.S., they can only enter if they are in “hot pursuit”and physically see the guy run indoors. Otherwise they HAVE to get a warrant. Even if they “suspect” he went in a room and hear someone that refuses to answer, they can NOT just kick the door down or especially use a battering ram! A dog sniffing a door is enough to kick it in and search the house? Finding a brown leather jacket is enough to make an arrest?? Just HOW did U.S. derive from English Common Law but we are LEAGUES apart in human rights??
I’m trying to contradict what Y’all say, but not all Pittbulls are bad and most can be retrained. Check with People in the United States 🇺🇸 that can show Y’all that they can be some of the Best and Loving Dogs out there. God did not put Dogs on Earth just to kill them because You don’t know enough about them. Contact People in the US and go there then Y’all will see that they are not all bad and most can be retrained. I’m serious. They are Precious Furbabies ♥️🐶♥️
How do K9's know the right person to bite and not the other cops/civilians who are also around them? Say for instance an armed robbery suspect fled out the back door of a building. The K9 and handler arrive on scene, how does the dog analyze the situation and search for an unknown suspect? Also I hear the term tracking and trailing used what are some examples of each?
I LUV the sound of the whining, panting and aggressive barking, as they are anxious to do their jobs. SO incredible. Never saw a human as dedicated to their jobs. But there are a few 😊
Police officers don’t go on live lines? Are they speaking of live electrical lines? Regardless if it’s to dangerous for human police then it’s too dangerous for K9 officers as well.

In the preview it showed officers dressed in hazard suits but the working dogs have no protection from whatever the humans are protecting themselves from. That is concerning to me.
Saying “then it will be destroyed” sounds incredibly callous. Also, it’s unbelievably gross to put down a dog who has even been given an ok because the owner wouldn’t or couldn’t retrieve them.
I’m tired of hearing that Pitbulls are the most dangerous dogs. They’re not they don’t even have the best bit-force. They family pets any dog put into that situation will act that way if they train that way they will act that way British people need to wake up and see that it’s not the dogs. It’s the people that wasn’t a vicious pitbull that was a pitbull that was scared you came into its house, yes my American bulldog will do that too. I had a mutt that would do that too. They had new pitbull or bully or anything like that. Wake up wake up Britain or UK.
Don’t put down a nice natured dog, crack down on the owners that are training them to fight. Any dog will be aggressive and defend themselves if they need to. Larger dogs, Rottweiler, and some of the other European dogs, even German shepherds and Dobermans can be worse, or even English bull terriers, which I love could be classed the same if trained to.
Pitbulls are classified this way is because most owners do not train the dogs properly if they were then the classification wouldn't be necessary it's that simple blame people
Here in America I went to a Town Hall meeting years ago when they showed a dog from Germany the officer said one word in German and the dog barked his name was Nero he is trained for the same things your K-9s are but he was also used to sniff around a van until he got to the back door Nero stood there the Police Officers open the door and saw people from Mexico getting into the America illegally Nero sure knew what he was doing
This the UK's version of police K9. At 12:36, every case has been a lame duck. Absolutely no evidence of a dog finding or capturing anything or anybody. I'll stick with American K9s.
