I build gunpla (gundam model kits) and customize diecast cars (hot wheels & matchbox). This channel is to show off all things pertaining to my hobbies.
i just followed most of your directions (pulling back on the end of thing on the end instead of using your thumb nail works WAY better) and my airbrush works SO much better. thanks a lot, man!
Isopropyl alcohol works to at removing the paint from the brush, 71% and 91% work wepl and dont hurt the brush or the model and it cheaper then tamiya paint thinner
thx for this vid bruv, I was about to add Peddinghaus decals to my model and was wondering if I can use warm water in place of the micro set and sol liquids
my neo is constantly clogging and I've tried a million things, but not this... I just ordered the .5 setup, fingers crossed! Thanks so much for the vid <3
Bro, you’re a straight up legend. I wake up and see a vid of you doing a steezy heel flip on a fingerboard, check my mail and my Godhand nippers just arrived so I search a vid on how to maintain them, boom, there you are again. Look up some tutorials on gunpla weathering, boom there you are again. I wouldn’t be surprised if you pop up the next time I search for sim racing tips. ✌🏽🛹🤖
Nice vid. New to weathering here.... Just a quick question, after weathering, do we need to do anything else like maybe another topcoat or that's the finish line already after weathering?
I am doing my 1st model it is corvette c6 the problem is when start to apply decals on my car the decals breaks easily anybody have solution for that ?
man... mine just foam up and clog the airbrush. I have tried three different ones with same result and i shook and used a paint mixer and everything. just fizzy sparkling milk
Thanks for the tip. Night and Day difference. The paint I use is mostly Proline water based. Recommended to use .5 so I was reducing it, and reducing it and reducing it to get it to spray and not clog. But it still sucked. got the .5 upgrade suggested by you and it's sooooooooo much better. Now I need to get better at spraying since I can't use the clogging as an excuse. 😂 Looking forward to getting good enough to upgrade to a better air brush. Thanks again.
Tamiya paint has its own thinner depending on the type of paint. Also they cannot be thinned with water or straight acrylic thinner. I use tamiya acrylic thinner at a 20% thinner ratio more or less and have had great results.
how do i removed the stock exhaust (hotwheels exhaust) with my sand paper? i tried it and it works but there are still some marks. how do i get it rid it fully? (sorry for bad english im a malaysian)
never remove your air cap with the needle in , it can damage the needle . 0.5 if a large nozzle for air brushing , it would be very difficult to do detail work. you could just thin your paints and use the standard nozzle . clogs are not caused by tip size they are caused by poor quality paints , paints not thinned enough , tip dry and dried paint from the cup getting into the fluid tip primarily. both of those airbrushes are great! and highly recommend them both
