What cervical vertebrae is the thrusting hand on, what part of the vertebrae, what direction are you applying the force, and what grade of thrust are you using?
thank you so much i remember watching a video like this a while ago and it was the only thing to help my neck and i came and found this my neck has been so stiff!!
Hey, Can I use the cervical rotation part of your video for my youtube video on fixing upper crossed syndrome? Would be very helpful to help the people out there to fix this issue
How about abdominal scar tissue causing dense muscles and it's sticky inside the abdominal wall and intestines. Does your technique help with getting rid of the stickiness? Thanks for your time
Is it not bad to roll the shouder blades forward if you have a rotator cuff injury? I was told everyones shoulders are already excessively rolled forward and that's a major cause of the issue. I must be misunderstanding something though.
Hi! I'm a licensed Physical Therapist, and to answer your question, while there may be precautions as to what exercises are safe and beneficial. It depends on what your phase of recovery is. Mostly for phase 1 and 2 where the goal is to reduce pain and return range of motion, heavy strength exercises are not yet indicated. Phase 3 and forward, it may be gradually incorporated based on specific needs, muscle imbalances and weakness your therapist / doctors may find. It's a case to case basus really. So assessment and appropriate treatment choices are important. Hope this helps
I ve gotta scar attributed to a chest tube years ago but ive been on methadone for years and the pain was gone but now im off of it the pain has returned the burning the pins and needles its really depressing idk who to see my pain medication is not working oxy10 and itd exhausting im miserable HELP
Had a total knee replacement and my knee is so stiff, won’t loosen up, I sit for work, when I get up, I have to stand straight for like 1-2 mins before I can walk off w/o limping.. is there certain exercises I can do to loosen the scar tissue surrounding the knee
Best explanation I have heard on this. I have got great success flattening scars with gaining lots of mobility and thing moving freely. Question is I have loose skin where the bump of scar tissue was. Will the loose skin tighten on its own, or can I do something for the loose skin.
The doctor checked me, then recommended a few months of physical therapy before doing any scans or such. Now I've seen 3 physiotherapists and they did all those tests and ruled out anything serious, yet I've had my symptoms for 2-3 months now, not getting much worse but not getting much better either beside temporary relief from certain activities. The physiotherapists didn't give me much other than "keep doing activities", but I don't feel confident in this advice and as I understand with sciatica you can get worse if you don't know which activities are good or bad. I'd prefer to go to regular physical therapy but no one seems to have capacity in their schedule to follow me up, and they also didn't seem enthusiastic that this will do any good, as if they can't do anything more for me than I can do myself, which is exercise. Still I'd feel more confident to exercise with the supervision of a professional, so symptoms don't worsen and the condition improves. I am not sure what they want me to do in this scenario, the doctor says no scans and expects me to go to physical therapy first, yet the physical therapists tells me to take care of myself. I am confused what my next step is supposed to be in this scenario then? See the doctor again, try yet another physical therapist, try my best on my own? I suffer from anxiety as well and with symptoms for 2-3 months now I am getting impatient for relief and a clear way forward, I'm afraid it's going to turn into a serious problem if I don't start treatment soon. I don't know if it is sciatica but the symptoms match up, pain in lower back/buttocks running down one leg, numbness, tingling, burning sensation, sitting makes it worse. I was also recommended to see an Osteopath, but I'm not convinced that will do any more good.
Great technique. I remember waking up with a stiff neck in 2021 snd watching you tube videos using towel techniques to help relive and treat the pain. Unfortunately I injured the nerves in my neck by over stretching. I was not able to.swallow food or fluids including saliva. but when I slept on a 20-30 percent raised angle it corrected my condition and I was able to digest food and fluid normally again. So just a word of caution be careful.and don't over stretch like I did to avoid any injuries guys.
I went to my chiropractor for a lower back concern, which was diagnosed with as a lower back injury. To cut a long story short - For some reason I was on the chiropractic bench and the chiropractor had my head in his hands and said 'relax', the next thing I know is I am having my head/neck twisted, this left me with noises coming from my neck, so I went back and this time saw a different chiropractor at the same clinic and said about the noises..... she decided to adjust my neck - WHEN I HADN'T EVEN RELAXED! - For 6 weeks I have had neck pain, went to A+E and was diagnosed with a muscular strain. Also, my neck sounds like it's made from coco pops when I turn my head.
My neck does the coco pops thing too has for years , u may not hav noticed before because ur neck was so tight , people carry a ton a tension there. Cyro is fairly aggressive and u should talk to whoever is working on you and tell them what u want , thats what i do and it seems to work pretty good. So recovery from a full body of adjustments can take me a week or three sometimes so be ready for that yourself. So yeah remember that when they say to breath out thats when they are gonna make an adjustment , thats also when u need to relax.
I think all of mine are entrapped. Because I’m past the burning and numbness I’ve ignored since my late 20’s im now 42. And it’s just pain now both arms and hands. Sometimes numb sometimes not. Always pain now though. Also had a distal biceps tendon rupture endobutton surgery. And a slap tear in my shoulder. So I’m quite the amalgamation of titanium. Probably need more surgery huh 😔
You are putting out good information, keep it up. I have struggled to cure plantar fasciitis and lower back pain for a few years. Yes many of the common treatments reduce and minimize pain, however to truly be healed and be able to go back to sports with no pain the next day the scar tissue has to be fixed. It's really challenging to figure this all out and it's ashame modern medicine does nothing to promote scar tissue release as a form of health maintenance similar to massage and seeing a chiropractor.
