Yeah it was fun to include it. After a while, I realized as an extender, it didn’t boost consistency as I needed starters since the deck can brick a lot. So it’s a flexible card to add or remove.
great deck! i threw in numeron dragon, hope harbinger, and draglubion instead of mathmech syncro, and the 2 sr xyzs. sky prison is cool, but not being able to use his affect on the opponents turn, kind turned me off for him, then lancelot, im just not much of a fan.
Absolutely, Number 100 Numeron is great. I forgot to note that in the decklist, but I do run it in a different Horus variant. Lancelot is a very specific/technical card, so is very situational. And Final Sigma is very rarely used. Sky Prison’s effect is lingering and lasts until the end of the opponents turn, so can really slow down decks and buy you an extra turn. With how much Horus I’ve seen, it’s actually really nice because opponent can’t use their own Horus lol
@@corycox7454 yeah! You activate its effect on your turn (after you finish all special summons from your own GY), and if it resolves, your opponent is locked out through their entire turn :)
It seems very nice recipe, and the idea of blackwing tuner and synchro was fantastic. I love Kashtira but after their destructive nerf its difficult to me to make a pure Kashtira recipe to control the opponent consider the fact of unlucky draw... Can you pls tell me what is the percentage of win ratio?
Thanks for your feedback! My win rate in the WCS Qualifiers has been 62%. Kash is still very strong, but with all the limits, definitely not as consistent. That’s why I like Horus, but important to remember to Unicorn/Fenrir SS first and then make sure to summon out all Horus and put back in GY before Ariseheart. Horus can work as Nib protection if you’re able to get out Number 90 Galaxy Eyes Photon Lord. Doing straight Kash combo plays into Nib sadly. The stun cards can be very effective because of all the special summons to tribute a Vanity card or LADD. The floodgate traps are also oppressive going first, but not great going second.
@@Splash-YGOMD ah its higher win rate than my recipe. Most of the time my first draw is awful. I usually focus on one kind of monsters, Kashtira for example. I have never tried combination of two monsters, i mean Kashtira with Horus for example. I spend 20k crystals to make my deck because Kashtira is so expensive and we can find them in master pack only. So i salvaged every UR i earned to make it. Now i gather again to earn horus and the main deck is 90% ready, the extra deck will take time hehe. I was very lucky with XYZ Lancelot however. But one last question, isnt better to have 2 Shangri Ira and 2 Arise Heart instead of 2 little knights in case your opponent switch your arise heart and banish it or Shangri face down?
@@seraphpaladin yeah with all the limits in Kash, it needs some help to boost consistency and generate more plays. I 100% agree with 2 Shangri and 2 Ariseheart. You can take out Dharc, Coach Giantrainer, and 1 of the 2 SP Little Knights. I’ve also added the new Garunix Eternity Hyang Fire King XYZ, but it’s a UR, so totally optional. Dharc just doesn’t come up that often, Coach Giantrainer is better for the floodgate/stun variant of Horus, and 2 SP is flexible but keep 1 of them. I should note that I made this video when Horus first came out and I’ve changed things around since then depending on how many of the “stun” cards (eg Summon Limit, Skill Drain, TCBOO, etc) you want to play in favor of more Kash cards (eg. 2-3 Thesosis, 2 Birth, Ogre, Tearlament Kashtira, 2-3 Risehearts) if you already have all the Kash cards, you can definitely experiment around to your liking! Master Duel gems are so expensive and grindy to get. Make sure to play all the events for the free gems if you can. The good thing about Horus is that they’re so good everywhere and can be used in lots of different decks, which make them a great gem investment!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the video! It’s a fun deck, but I do caution like many, does brick at times. Going first is ideal, but I’ve won many duels going second thanks to hand traps. Horus gives the deck really nice follow up / one turn kill ability as well.

I love seeing videos like this about the decks I love playing.
I also wish Darklords would get support. It’s such a cool archetype, but requires too many cards to start a combo compared to the meta that are just 1-card combos everywhere.

Yeah I was playing around with Tour Guide and found the line. You can also summon Rakea instead of Disaster and pop Rakea with Shyama to special summon another Sharvara from the deck. Some people don’t like running Disaster, so Rakea also works.
Hello! Icejades are Diamond, but not Master unfortunately. We lose against Maxx c and Droll, and have few options going 2nd against the meta decks. Even if we play go 2nd cards, we’re basically a 2-3 card combo deck, which isn’t going to win many games against decks like Snake Eyes. We do have a favorable match up against Branded Despia.
@@itachiphoenix33Trish is hard to summon in Icejade, but it can be run in the Icejade Atlantean variant. I think Ice Barrier plays both Trish and Trish Zero, as do Synchron/Cyrstron and Evil Eye. Not too many unfortunately because Trish is difficult to summon out.

Drytron can certainly achieve master, but I would caution that it’s going to be a grind. There are so many hand traps now to counter the meta decks, ie. Maxx C and Droll, which are both pretty devastating to this deck. This variant of Drytron is basically an auto win if you go 1st uninterrupted and has some potential to bait and win going 2nd. Nevertheless, it’s not considered meta for a lot of reasons, but namely due to the fact hand traps really hurt, and there are so many now being played. Just a warning before you commit your gems to building this deck. It’s definitely a ton of fun though! It’s combo heavy, but there’s a Drytron content creator named LoganJYA who has great combo guides to learn from.
Thanks! I’m not currently playing drytron because master duel is in a Droll format due to super heavy samurai, so between Droll and Maxx C, it makes Drytron really unplayable sadly. Nevertheless, the deck is extremely powerful if you’re able to do a turn without many interruptions.
I don’t currently have any Lyrilusc cards, but it definitely seems like a fun deck to play! With the 2nd anniversary, I’m going to be focused on Blue Eyes this month for ladder and duelist cup, but will definitely keep the birds in mind
