Icejade | Master Duel | Synchro x Link 2024 Festival Gameplay 

Welcome to a Master Duel Synchro x Link festival event showcase featuring Icejade!
Icejade fits perfectly into this event theme, as we aim to control the flow of the game and synchro summon boss monsters with powerful effects. With the lack of top tier decks in this event and no Maxx C, I would consider Icejade as one of the best rogue decks to play.
Our boss monster, Icejade Gymir, is possibly one of the best synchro 10s in the game behind Baronne and Chengying, as her effect protects all of your monsters from destruction and banish effects. That effect being used in response to an opponent’s card effect, Gymir can also banish that card you chained to. Furthermore, Gymir is incredibly easy to summon, normally through Icejade Ran Aegerine as the 1 card, 1 effect instant synchro summon.
As far as investing in the deck, it’s relatively cheap considering there are few main deck archetype URs and many of the Extra Deck URs are commonly used elsewhere. The UR for just x1 Gymir is also worth it considering it can be used in any water deck, and top decks like Mannadium and Swordsoul.
