To heavy up top ---- those muscle work great for him on the football field, they are useless on the track. Big strong legs --- thin as possible up top. That is a world class sprinters body.
Pound for pound he’s so much better of an athlete IMO judging from size comparison alone. Moving that much more weight and staying relevant in the race….crazy.
It is nice though to see someone who is typically top of the charts, show up to a competition and come in dead last. I imagine that was humbling for him. A lot of respect, to put himself in that position and take it in stride. Good for him. He performed amazingly well, I was surprised he was as close as he was to first place. Wow. Shows you how difficult it is up at the top. Talking 1 or 2 tenths of second. Also, he still would've caught the guy for his profession, lol😆. A tenth of a second isn't enough to get away
Seahawk fan here: DK is monstrously talented. He should dominate every single physical aspect of every play. He’s so big and so fast. But he’s got a looooong ways to go on the mental side, along with getting a QB to put the ball where it needs to be every time
I think the argument that fast NFL guys could compete (at the highest level; this is still not the highest level) with track stars has been settled ages ago. They can't. BUT.....this is absolutely amazing and CLEARLY the best NFL guys have phenomenal speed. If they adjusted their training and focused on sprinting, I'm sure some of them could be world class top level.
