Ellie didn't owe Tommy anything in my opinion. Doesn't Tommy realize Abby and everyone lost enough? They lost Jessie along the way and Tommy lost his eye, meanwhile Abby lost all her friends, her crew, her dignity.... everything but that's not enough for him. Tommy's 100% the selfish one here because he expected Ellie who's trying to recover and has horrible PTSD from the Joel's death to go on a long journey AGAIN, separate from Dina and her child (Her FAMILY), possibly losing her own life in the process, hunt Abby down and kill her... because that would totally solve all their problems. The game ended I think like it should have, with the lesson Ellie learned the hard way that revenge doesn't solve everything.
Yeah they butchered tommys character, he wouldnt want joels "daughter" to risk her life for a path of revenge especially after being there when Sarah died
If they got the timeline stuff right this game wouldn’t have gotten any hate , the story was prefect , if only someone can move those timelines around and re-edit 🤔
They messed up some timeline spots but this overall was insanely deep in meaning , and even with Joel dead at the beginning, the whole story revolves around HIM Big brain on 🧠 ⚡️
This Joe Guy ? who is he ? just a little shouter on camera to get attention and Money but NOT someone writing stories or making games, just another clown thinging that his opinion is more important? well he is just a consumer like most of us, last bit on the food chain. Don't mind him.
This is the video where I actually lost a lot of respect for Angry Joe. I felt like I was in the movie totally enthralled with what was happening... then there's this douchebag clicking his tongue at everything when I just wanna be like "SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LET ME ENJOY THIS!"
@@johnned2114 I loved it lol. When the first game ended I was calling BS being like "Joel is gonna be killed for this soon" so I was actually pleased they got right to killing him off
Now I don’t mind the whole thing of Ellie being alone and broken after this. Like the Last of Us is set in a dark, dark world so it seems fitting that Ellie’s greatest fear comes to life. It’s just the execution. Maybe if Ellie’s obsession with killing Abby drove everyone away and she actually did it and felt nothing but emptiness afterwards it would work. Naughty Dog get their “eye for an eye makes the whole world blind” moral and we get a satisfying conclusion to the story. Of course that’s both everything they could’ve changed to make the game better but for now I’ll go with this. Instead. Ellie let’s Abby live for some reason. Like not only did she kill someone you consider a father, someone you said you were trying to forgive. But you went through so much just for this moment. You’ve killed pregnant women for this, you’ve lost your girlfriend who’s having a kid of her own for this hell, you lost your uncle for this and you decide to just… let the one person you sacrificed all of this to kill… walk away. Not just walk away either you decide to spare her life right as your about to kill her. Literally the last moments and instead of just finishing it you’re gonna save her and let her walk!? It’s a cop out and I don’t know why they would do it other than for sequel material. In doing that they just take so much away from this ending which would’ve actually been an interesting one were it not for everything else wrong with the game’s story.
One of them said if this was a tv show it be on the CW. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 How ironic that this trash is on HBO MAX. Retelling the same stupid story, and probably altering this same atrocity differently. They are definitely going to make this worse and for whatever reason that this leads to a 3rd game, i hate to see how that transaction develops. HBO has been known to screw up the ending to Game Of Thrones and other things, so what chance does this have? Nowadays things don't get off the ground so easily as it did in the past, yet it was destroyed execution style all the same. It's like i said before : I HAVE NO HOPE FOR THIS WHATSOEVER! That is all i have to say. 🙈🙈🙈🙈🙈
In my opinion, people who never played tlou1 has less impact and tend to like the story of the game, but if you played tlou1 and waited YEARS for a new game and you get this story, you WILL get mad, i never did play tlou1 but i can clearly see why some people call the game a piece of shit, it really depends on the person's mindset.
@@krasmasov6852 Jesse was really the only new character worth caring about. And not only was he unceremoniously killed off. He amounted to nothing but being a glorified sperm donor with how little the story treats him.
The problem is the whole story plays with Abby (except for the revenge on Joe at first). No Elie or anyone was mentioned. And abby had a whole story of her own, after she killed Joel , look like she forgot about everything and moved on and it was insulting.
I need to be for real when I say this. This game brainwashed me into liking Abby. What do I mean by that you might ask. After spending 10 hours as her, the game trys it's best to get me to feel sorry for her but it didn't work. It wasn't until she was caught by the rattlers and after playing this game for days and getting nowhere, all I wanted was the game to end already, and ironically enough as Abby and Ellie are fighting and Ellie starts to drown her, I said omg I just want this game and senseless violence to end, what do you want from me game do you want me to tell Ellie to let her go? Fine then let her go Ellie just let her go! And then she dose it. And five minutes later the game ends.
