When I am bullish on one particular stock, I sell several LEAPS around ATM puts at various strike prices. I then use the premiums from selling puts to buy several LEAPS deepest ITM call options. I will have to add some money to make up the call option premiums. For LEAPS ATM puts, it's unlikely to be assigned early due to the extra long expiration date and the remaining time values. But you do need sufficient buying power to cover just in case. For LEAPS deepest ITM calls, the time values are quite low and sometimes almost zero. It's just like the down payment for buying a house. It's unlikely you will lose the whole premiums. Again, you will need sufficient fund if you want to buy the stocks at the stike prices. If the timing and stock direction are correct, I found this option strategy is safer than buying straight calls. It will not make you rich overnight. But there is little worry about time decay. It can possibly generate consistent small income. When new expiration date is available, the old put and call options are closed and new ones are opened.
I’m just curious what caused the brain inflammation, I’ve been watching you for a long time you got me into stocks I’m just a curious person? If I remember right years ago I think you theorized that a certain you know what virus may have caused it but I could be wrong ?
Shouldn’t be either 🤨 You should have the option to subscribe monthly for $19.99 a month or somewhere around $190/year for yearly access. Unless you live in a country where the exchange rate is wildly different, then go with whichever you want: monthly or yearly access.
I'm glad to see you're doing well man! I've been watching your videos since 2013 and you've made such a positive impact in my financial life. So thank you
Thank you for your insights! Given the Federal Reserve’s potential actions, it's imperative to stay ahead of the curve. I recently began utilizing DuraMarkets, and their support has proven to be indispensable. They have expertly guided me through the intricacies of the market, making it significantly easier to execute my trading strategies amidst these volatile conditions.
@InTheMoney I am able to understand some of the concepts explained in this video but also failing to grasp the more complex concepts. Don't judge me. New to options but I do have a 6 figure long term portfolio. Could you please do an extensive video on how to trade leaps on robinhood for beginners. Big fan of this channel. I literally just discovered you last week and you seem like the needle in the haystack when it comes down to investment channels. No fluf, straight to the point just a little bit hard to understand for someone who is brand new to options trading. Thanks in advance.
quick question, wouldnt a better allocation of capital be WAY OTM call option leaps with no intention of holding till maturity? the options are cheap AF and you still have the leverage so u hold till ur green and then sell before time runs out
