Were these interviews scripted? They sound as if rehearsed? But, I am glad that each of these soldiers is mindful of the fact that everyone in the Army is a soldier first. In contrast to one branch in particular that has no such ethos. The majority of the members of a particular branch of service are so singularly focused on their own career field, that they are oblivious to the fact they too are combatants FIRST, and specialists in their chosen career last. If they want to see proof, just flip your I.D. card over and discover there is a Geneva convention code. It identifies the card holder as a combatant. Regardless of their AFSC/MOS/RATE.
