I tried to mention my vivid dreams, loss of smell (not even onion or chili cooking!) to a neurologist. He was looking for tremors or other things, but not the three beginning symptoms mentioned by Dr Onun. I don't smell anything & he says there could be other diseases connected to that. I do tend to act out my dreams; even poking & hitting my husband in my sleep as I'm fighting something in my dream. Not ALL dreams are violent. Stiffness, constipation, & lack of balance at times are also symptoms I have off & on.
Many would say this is too good to be true, I must say this real quick that it is very good and very true how Dr Madida Sam on RU-vid cured my Parkinson Disease with their PD treatment protocol🌱🌱🌱

Hello! We cannot provide medical advice here. We recommend that you have an honest conversation with your neurologist and try to see a movement disorders specialist like those on our team. Our phone number is 352-294-5400 if you want to set up an appointment.
I've had stomach issues since birth. Then they stopped until I became pregnant 42 yrs ago. I've had hernia surgery. Now I have to go to the gastro dr every 3 months and have cells that cause cancer removed. Its called asphgus with displacia. I don't know if that's the correct spelling. the dementia is getting so bad also. I have so many non moto symptoms. I have terrible tremors...
My Neurologist told me (A month ago) that I may have Secondary Parkinson. He told me to stop taking Lithium , which I did for yrs , but I had stopped it months before that visit , for I hated it . I have my next visit next July, where he will tell whether I have it or not. My main problem is my speech. It feels like if the back of my tongue is "loose".
This video is a Must See for understanding what Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech Language Therapy is and how it improves your quality of life for those suffering with Parkinson's. Learned so much in each category and how important each specialty working together is. I now understand how they work together for the benefit of the patient. I appreciate the presenter's expertise in this field; yet presented in a way non medical persons can understand. Extremely relatable! Thank you for explaining the importance of social interactions and staying active and busy, and how your experienced staff work with the patients to find their individualized goals. I didn't realize so much can be done without medication for this disease. I will be sending this information to my family and friends afflicted with Parkinson's in hopes they make appointments here! Thanks again Mrs. Warren. Helpful video! 👍

I just saw your presentation. I was diagnosed with parkinson about a year ago. I am taking pramipexole and i am doing exercises in the internet. I am 84 years old and the worst i find is that i have very poor balance, i walk with a cane. Do you recommend the DBS? Thanks for your time.
Thanks for the presentation. I was diagnosed with a mild case of parkinson disease a few months ago. I am taking Pramipexole, what do you know about this medication? I heard there is a treatment called deep brain stimulation. Can you tell me if this is recommended? Thanks.
We perform DBS surgery at the Fixel Institute. The decision for surgery is an important one and it involves you, your neurologist, and our whole team. If interested, ask your doctor to refer you to us and we will see you and consider multiple treatment options.
I enjoyed this presentation, I think it's important to know what may be available in the future. 10 years to approval seems way too long for some patients, including me 😀😀
It is. The steps in research are important as they help to show that the new treatment is safe and effective. At Fixel, our interdisciplinary approach takes advantage of approved therapies that work for our patients. That may include medicine, surgery, therapy (PT, OT, Speech). Then we also have clinical trials that patients can participate in.
It can... slurring of words, difficulty in control over breath, forming the words, etc. But there are therapies (breathing, singing, speech therapy, to name a few) that can help counteract the problems one might encounter. And every person with parkinson's is different - thus the saying: "If you've seen one person with Parkinson's, you've seen one person with Parkinson's."
@@FixelInstitute Thanks for elaborating - I agree with you on that. And by Parkinson's expert, can one assume you mean a neurologist who is also a Movement Disorders Specialist? (instead of a Person with Parkinson's (albeit with a PhD from UF and a research nerd) like myself)? 🔬🤔
@@FixelInstitute You can call me Robert, or you can call me Bob, or you can call me R.J., or you can call me Bobby, but you don't have to call me Dr.! ☮🤟🎵🎶(BTW, an excellent presentation, as are all of those that come from the Fixel Institute).
The importance of exercising is very true, in fact, it is about the only thing that actually works consistently, in my case it is running, it takes me some time to loosen everything but after a mile or so, I feel normal, I sometimes struggle to walk as my feet seem to weight a ton yet I can still complete a marathon in under 3 hours 30 minutes, go and figure....
I am not only happy am alive but also glad that "Dr Madida" was able treat and cure me with his herbal medication of my parosmia, Meniere disease and Parkinson disease(PD) with their herbal treatment🌿🌿
Thank you for your work. I finally understand how gene therapy helps in HD and I hope my final project about understanding this disease is given an A+.

I suffered from severe constipation for over ten years. But, as a result of developing Non-Hidgkin’s Lymphoma, weight loss became a significant problem. After trying multiple diets, my nutritionist suggested I increase my protein and calorie intake significantly. And, because of the swallowing problem that is common with patients with Parkinson’s, my home health care provider started making me clear jello, mixed with canned fruit, and instead of using water, she used a high protein clear drink to dissolve the jello in. (Now remember, I had to go to the ER 4 times in 4 years for blocked bowls as a result of the constipation). Within less than one week of eating this high protein, high calorie jello combination once a day, my stool became softer, my bowls started moving at least once a day; and my constipation symptoms suddenly disappeared. Actually, I had to be careful because my stool was so soft that I sometimes moved my bowls before I could get to a bathroom. So, I wear make pampers in case of an accident! But, also, my anxiety caused by constipation immediately stopped and my energy level improved. I don’t know if this will work for every Parkinson’s patient; but, it has significantly helped me.
