@@THEjohnnyfalstaff I'm getting ready to start chemo and radiation for the same cancer you had, I'm kinda worried about losing my hearing and singing voice, I've watched all all your videos and your a big inspiration for me. Any advice for me moving forward in treatment?
@@theuniverseinstereo3453 damn, sorry you have to go through that…but it’s not the end of all things! When i was diagnosed, i felt the same way…stressing over what i might lose, but as i got into the treatment phase, those worries seemed to diminish. You become more focused on healing and put other thoughts in the background…at least that’s how it was for me. I think the best advice i could give is to try and keep the stress level as low as possible, get plenty of rest, stay positive and let the treatments do the work… Keep us posted, amigo…we’re pulling for you!
Thanks for your advice. I really appreciate it, I love your music and singing voice, it's smooth! Your story has really inspired me an given me hope. Keep at it and I'll keep listening.
@THEjohnnyfalstaff Not too bad. Got married and bought a new house in the country. I hope to see you play at some point before I die. Keep up the good work, Brother!
Just curious but I noticed looks to be two different guitars used in the video, one has wear marks on the body and the other one has a good finish on the body, and I love the finger picking.
Took me a couple of watches to see you're playing both a Stratocaster and a Telecaster B-Bender here in the video. Absolutely wonderful sounding! I'll enjoy this often! Junior Brown got nothing on you!
Can you use it for all chords? And do you always use the 3 high string? I can imagine you have to use always 2 or 3 strings. Gotta get me one of these and learn it.
@@Morten_Nielsen1979 the cool thing about it is that you could slide the bender and apply it to any string, but I only use it on the b string… But if one was to get experimental with it, you could probably do all kinds of stuff.
Straight from the runways of Milan! Our very own homegrown 'Snakeskin Cowboy'! A moody, melodic offering, esconced in syrupy reverberation, lyrically crafted to convey emotional depth and heartfelt empathy; something known only to those who may have survived the dark side of love's enduring pain. That's what I got out of it anyway. Good to see you still puttin' in the work and turning out your magic.👍
@@THEjohnnyfalstaff You're welcome here any time. Stay with us, plenty of room and a few cool guitars and amps to play. It's a great place - winters are tough, but every place has some kind of crazy weather. It's wide open and very inspiring. Thank you for your music. I can't hide from it - it grabs my soul. Take care!
I know this is an old video but as a fellow Japanse guitar enthusiast I had to comment on my collection of Japanese Les Pauls, I own several Tokai and Burnys from the early 80s that are amazing instruments. Have been a fan of yours for many years-Im more of a rock oriented player and have always appreciated your skills as from what I have seen of you not only are you a tremondous country player but have plenty of rock chops as well. And your voice! Wish I had your talent and its a sin you arent more famous, then again whats popular these days really isnt "music" at least not the music I grew up with. Hope your doing well Johnny!
@@JohnWahlers thanks for the kind words, Buddy! Yeah, those love rocks were really cool, wish I had one. Sadly, this guitar was stolen years ago, and I replaced it with another MIJ Strat… This one is a late 60s early 70s big headstock, very cool. I’ll do a video on it soon. Thanks again!
Hey brother I have some questions about my dad, he has been diagnosed with the cancer u had. I was just looking to reach out to somebody that has went thru it. My dad is 66 on the 20th and we just found out,
