It becomes all vanity when after struggling with such qualification, most employers still do not care whether their HR departments are filled with qualified CHRP certified personnel or not. What is the HRMPEP professional body doing to ensure that HR departments are filled with people with requisite qualification? Unfortunately the body is not pushing this agenda hard enough. None of the speeches touched on it, either. In my organization, the HR is owned by who is who, none is qualified and no one cares and even getting leave to go and sit for the exam was extremely difficult from the very HR office who should be at the forefront in promoting such CHRP qualification.
