On 22nd January 2024, HRMPEB released the results of the November 2023 Certified Human Resource Professionals (CHRP) and its first ever CBET Diploma in Human Resource Management Examinations. The event graced by Ag. Executive Director Mr. Fredrick Karani MIHRM who represented the Chief Guest; Chair National Council IHRM CHRP Odero P. Dalmas, Chair of the Board CS Sharon Kisire MBS and HRMPEB CEO CHRP Nicholas Kanisa FIHRM.
In total, 1,366 candidates were examined under the Old and the Revised CHRP Curriculum. Male candidates were 313 while female candidates were 1053. Out of the total candidates who sat for CHRP November examinations, 746 candidates sat for examinations under the Old CHRP Curriculum and 620 candidates under the Revised CHRP Curriculum. This was an increase from 355 candidates in June 2023.
Under the Old Curriculum, the best perfomed units were; Principles and Practice of Management, Employee Resourcing and Human Resource Research Project while the lowest were; Introduction to Financial Accounting, Organization Change & Development and Strategic Human Resource Management. In the Revised Curriculum, the best perfomed was Employee Resourcing, Employee Relations & Labour Laws and Human Resource Audit while the lowest were; Human Resource Management, Compensation & Reward Management and Organizational Development and Transformation.
In addition, 16 inaugural candidates sat for the Competency-based education and training (CBET) Diploma examinations. A total of Five subjects (Level I) were examined. Principles of labor economics recorded the highest mean mark of 59.31 while Business communication recorded the lowest mean mark of 46.13.
