One of the greatest cars ever made. my 08 is still kicking, 218k miles and a cracked radiator, still going strong without issue. They don't make them like this anymore
By the late 1990's, Pontiac had become one of the worst brands for glamorising deadly reckless driving. Back then their slogan was "The Imports ain't worth a grand-am."
I love this ad. It came out the year I graduated from highschool. I remember searching everywhere for the song, on the early-00's internet, which led me to the band Timonium, and for that, I'm eternally grateful. It's too bad i never found out who really did it, but if the forums were correct, then "Populations" by Timonium was the song's inspiration. They are very similar.
I am a Grand Prix lover. I had five of them. My last one was a 2008. The last year of the GP. I got it at 8 pm on September 3, 2015 on my grandmother's birthday. Had it for seven years. Last miles on it before turning it in was 350,000. Missed that car. The 3800 engine was one of the best on the fleet.
It’s a shame they GM got rid of Pontiac. I think if they had revived the popular name plates and had nice designs they would be a great competitor to Dodge.
It's generations knew every track in NASCAR where the cup series planted to the road a v6 feels if it's a v8 outclassed Camry and accord which is a result for when you fuel for the soul of the past and turn tsome heads with the best of new Pontiac Grand Prix the official vehicle of NASCAR.
There were pros and cons. I absolutely adore repping a US car brand. I have an 06, and in many ways it's better than the asian cars of that time, but also.. some pretty big flaws.
i watched this commercial back in 2009 in uk for the first time since then i always wanted to buy a cadi(unfortunately we are forgotten here where i live and there is no dealership) and i was looking for this damn commercial and i finally found it after 12 years
I remember first seeing this commercial years and years ago as well! So glad to have finally found it. ❤❤I loved how the Cadi blew out the candles at the end and was just rocking back and forth, (when they said party’s over) my favorite part lol 🤩 I’ve never forgot that part.
I daily drive one of these still, This comment section overhypes them a little. It’s at 266,000 miles and kicking but it’s by no means a fun car like this video makes it seem. Just get a ninth gen impala.
