Is this ACTUAL Oasis, or AI? Ahhhh, got it now. Its setting sun ,which i always thought was just Noel singing on a chemical brothers tune, didnt realize it was an Oasis tune that Chems reworked. You really do learn something new every day.
Its not actually a demo version, when Noel split up with the group in 1999 he He wrote and produced most of the standing on shoulders of giants songs by himself
I can't tell you how much this band has helped me through my life. Their music, the lyrics and the emotions of the songs mean everything to me. This version of Live Forever is like I'm hearing it for the first time from a distance memory.
I read Jeff Buckley was not invited to his father's funeral. Sad. His smooth voice reminds me of Jim Morrison. He sounds very interesting and intelligent.
johnny is a guitar player that every time you hear him you say to yourself this is incredible no matter what song he plays you just cant help but noticing how great he is
A reunion in an unplugged concert like this with a selection of the tunes of all albums and a couple of new songs (written by Noel obviously) will put them on the top again.
Fuck...May 19th in '95? A Friday night? Either I was at this show or I was bartending a block away. I love Julianna and I definitely would have gone to see her and I know I saw Jeff play somewhere....it could be this show! Fuck thanks for posting this
Wow, I did not know this was on album! Elizabeth Fraser did not want this to be released because it is unfinished and they had a special relationship with each other. I always find myself internally apologizing when I start listening to it. Edit, just realized this is remastered from a bootleg. Though I don't see the track listed on said remastered bootleg.
I actually scrounged a backstage pass to this gig and went to the aftershow party with my brother and his friend. When i went to work rhe next day, i never told anyone as i knew they wouldnt believe me. It was very surreal and i still have the pass.
I remember I taped this performance, and I watched it so much that I wore out the VHS tape. We need a 4K remastered video of this. Same with the G-Mex gig. Too bad both are owned by MTV.
