you can spawn them away from the vehicle, and then move them into the vehicle - direct respawn into it is not possible but this would give you the same illusion
Any chance you could teach how to make a radio trigger (or a support call) that makes the gunners of a V-44X Blackfish fire on a specific spot? I have made the pilot orbit the spot I want them to fire at. It is a building I want to level, I don't want them to engage infantry, I have already figured out how to do that. If you could figure out a method for this, or already know one, it would be massively appreciated.
Anyone know how to make the driver get out aswell? I mean if I want it to be a duo patrol, I dont want the npc to keep sitting in the car and be exposed...
Just to get things clear it is only the Brits that drive on the wrong side of the road, it is not a Arma bug.. :) But that said, great video, short and easy to understand
How about setting up an AI extract for players at end of mission? And insert once they all finished faffing at the Arsenal and doing battlefield barbie.
Yes, I intend to keep doing these. I'll probably move onto some more advanced scripting tutorials too at some point once I figure out how to get the video capture software to record it properly. I'll likely just throw some videos of me making missions in the editor for my clan too, but I'm unsure on how much I'll end up talking on them.
If more playable units are added then will this work in co-op too? Suppose after one of the objective is completed then say a car blows up by trigger. Will that be witnessed by all playable units? No local/global etc mess will happen?
This will work in coop. One of the reasons I set the task to all playable units is this then gives the tasks to them automatically, without having to sync the task up which each playable character. Since the objective will have died on the server, it is synchronised with all the clients for you. This means even JIP players will see the objective completed. For reference, you can replace dave with a car named dave and this will still work.
