I love it man. I had a traditional double pumper Holley on it and this brawler made a world of difference. I just put one on a customers car too and worked great out of the box.
Love your car dude. Always come back to your videos. Really appreciate seeing you work on the car, then beat on it at the strip. What’s going on right now? Can’t break 11’s? I think I recently saw a video where you thought it might have been the torque converter? Idk it’s been awhile. Anyway, what’s the move now? Think maybe that’s all she’s got with the current setup? 11’s are a respectable place to be for sure.
Thanks for watching bud. I was hoping it was in the converter. But wasn’t. The guy who did my heads messaged me and said he thinks he put too light of springs on them. So gonna do them again after we get done this drag n drive this week. We started in Virginia and then drove them to atco then Cecil and tonight I’m driving it back to Virginia.
I think you're on the right track with lowering shift RPMs, especially 1st to 2nd. The RPMs really flatten out & just kinda hang there. If its no longer making power at XXXX RPM, no need to go above that. JMO 🤷
I noticed that when you are just tipping into rpm in your burnout it sounded a little flat on a cylinder.. I would do a compression test and see? What do the spark plugs look like?
@@Speedy123youknowme all the plugs are light brown. I did find one issue that I’ll be doing a video on. That I’m hoping I’d the issue with the lost mph and et.
Yeah back in the day to use 2 cinder blocks and 2 by 6 to get it up with a half half a ton jack you get the other block on the other side before you use a three-and-a-half. When I was putting them in by myself. Made it a lot easier
When I was younger I could pick a auto up and set it on the jack. But getting older is making me weak lol. But I’ve had a lot of fun over the years laying under cars. Wouldn’t trade it for the world. When you do it by yourself you have to figure out a way to make it work.
@@302Performance I just subscribed to your channel because I ain't nobody backyard guy. I know the story that you just talked about all your cousins with old muscle cars 67, 69, 70 and the old muscle cars they didn't have technology that got today back in the day. You just tried different things to make car faster. You know you had what you had and it came out with Sneaky Pete.
@@302Performance yeah man I use pull them in the tree branches and use old tripods. I'll build a car that was for the in a class all naturally aspirated I have a father up in years with the little bit work on it which I understand that to you know when you got kids they come first and you look projects in your hobbies have to wait till they get to a certain age because their mouths come first. I learned a long time ago it don't take much money to fun. But if you can make some money out of it that's joy of it. Keep up the good work and good content. Wish you all the luck in the world peace ✌️🙏🙏
I know all too well bud. I got out of it for years until my kids got older. Like you said. Just couldn’t afford it. But the last few years getting into harder than ever lol. Really appreciate you watching the vids man.
We were in the parade Friday in a '65 F100. Took over 2 hours to drive the route from start to finish. It was NUTS! Cars pulled out of the line with engine issues before they even got to the boardwalk.
Last year it took about 2hrs too. Def a test on the coolant system. They said Friday broke a record for the boardwalk cruise with 800 cars. But it’s worth it to me. I love doing it. I’ll be doing it again in the fall.
It was a real good weekend. Riding the boards in the rain was definitely lonely. So you didn't see much police activity either huh? Have fun, stay safe!
The wet boardwalk cruise def made it small. But I still had fun. Def some police activity. But not like ppl make it out to be. I’ll be back down in the fall. Hope to see you out and about bud.
