In the 1980s, in my childhood and youth, I raced bikes in the environment of communist socialism. It was a great adventure to get some quality parts back then. You can certainly imagine the feeling when you managed to catch a great piece! And I still get that same feeling now as I hunt around the world for frames, parts and bikes' accessories from the 70's to the 90's to restore the bikes I used to race or dream of in my youth. Memories return and love remains. Bikes are simply passion for life. And that's what my RU-vid channel is all about. Marek Suchánek

Yeah yeah, I love this Campagnolo. The new sets aren't as nice, but they work as well as they used to, or better...so I've partially forgiven them the plastic look! Thank you for the great support and I'm working on more content of course.

Hola, muchas gracias por su apoyo. Las instrucciones son claras: empezar por donde la diferencia es mayor y enderezar hasta que esté bien. A veces también me llevó más tiempo, pero es la experiencia de muchas tareas lo que me hace mejorar.

@@Tarmaccyclocross It's always a matter of everyone's taste. I lived through their birth and that's why I like them and have a certain amount of nostalgia for them.
Such a beautiful build. Love the color too, reminds me of Gios blue. Would love to build up a bike with the polished aluminum campy. The Shimano square taper bottom brackets were not very good in my opinion. I suspect the campy was far superior.
@@OnRoadVintageBikes I was only trying to suggest that when I used shimano square taper BB in the past it was not good. I was suggesting that campy BB like in your video was probably far superior. Thanks for posting such great content.
It is a very nice bike. In 2022 I build my "bike" with an old cinelli frame from gino Liotto from the 80s. It is a very nice bike. Your videos was very helpful to build my bike. Thanks for your videos!!!
Can i ask? What year is this? I just bought a favorit frameset. At the bottom of bb shell: 72 then f logo. Theres no cable guide at all except one rear der stopper at right chainstay.

@@nielsenrivera457 I chose the size based on the length of the top frame tube(effective) and I have to say that the frame fits me perfectly. It's great to handle. It's just perfect, I then bought a Swiss cross and a disc version because Ritchey frames convinced me with their sophistication and quality.

Catching up here ………. So pleased all that patience paid off my friend 👍. Great frame original paint still looks super and as always a GPset worthy of it . DA 7400 series looks great / works perfectly and it all fits time wise. Thanks for the masterclass on the bar wrap…….perfect attention to detail 😁. Another triumph …….I can’t tell you enough how enjoyable it is to watch you work. As a fellow mechanic I really appreciate the care taken and attention to detail. Nooooo- so many mistakes in the first 5 minutes ! Pour boiling water over the BB as the thermal expansion will help to unbind the threads. Use the tool to make sure both cups can rotate before fully extracting either one. ALWAYS do the first wash with a brush, using a cloth/sponge will drag dirt particles over your paint/chrome. NEVER use a Scotchbrite pad on any part of a frame !!! I couldn't bear to watch any more, that was awful.
Celkom by ma zaujimalo ako sa na tom jazdí - sú tieto centric brzdy, alebo favorit špecial brzdy použiteľné aj dnes, alebo je to s nimi skôr brzdenie očami?
Popsal jste to celkem výstižně, nejhorší jsou asi ty nejkrásnější brzdy všech dob: Campagnolo Delta ty z prudšího kopce brzdí velmi zvolna. Zbytek brzd z minulého století je na tom podobně...musíte brzdit s rozvahou a velkou rezervou, až Campy a Dury se dvěma čepy (2.pol.90.let) brzdí dobře. Děkuji za sledování videa.
