Miss those days, it sucked that you had to play it in some light to see the color but it was all we had. Do you think handheld games are dying out now?
Just come across your channel, great video, with that skill you can restore items to sell plus revenue from RU-vid videos, what a cool way to make a living!
Driving those self-tappers back into the plastic with an electric screwdriver just hurt my soul. Especially from the channel I'm pretty sure is the one that taught me to back the screws off until they fall into the original threads before carefully screwing them back in...
Dude, I have a gameboy that doesnt charge anymore and the screen got some humidity damage... I tried reaching out on insta but I guess it got burried... Is there any way I could pay you to get it fixed? I really wanna play on it again
Beautiful restoration! I was glad you restored an old one instead of buying new. The older German power tools are usually so much better quality than you can get now. The color you repainted it in looked like a metallic modernized version of that green Russian equipment paint. Looks great! Fantastic job. It is always a pleasure to watch you work.
I really love your restorations, but todays one is some sort lazy. Not that I’m some kind of pedant, but there are a lot of shortcomings in the restoration. The bolts remained dirty. If you start soldering a board, you might as well unsolder the switch and take it apart for cleaning. At the end of the video you can see a lot of dirt on the case. Somehow it didn’t work out neatly today
I’m hoping you could help me! I know it’s an older video and you may not remember but, I’ve picked up my own 300watt pulse laser cleaner and I’m having an incredibly hard time with the settings for cast iron! Would you happen to remember what settings you were using here?
the sound of the screen coming off at 3:40 was sooooo satisfying 😩🤌😮💨 also the cartridge coming out of the sock had me rolling lmaoo thank you for another awesome video❤
Do you have a link for where you got your replacement back? I have the same model, however the last 2 replacement backs have been just so slightly the wrong shade of blue.
