Amazing video. Wish I could make something like this myself but I doubt it would reach people. This commentary channel thing is just about as soulless as cooperate channels and their dumbed down extreme center unsolicited opinion is only making their commenters and fans stupider as they binge these kinds of videos in the background while playing elden ring or something. Shits bad, to the point where I see new channels on my recommended that average 2k subs and their entire catalogue is just covering drama from the beginning of the channel's creation. No attempts to make themselves look authentic by keeping up their bandicam footage of minecraft and instead sanitizing any individuality once had for clout and views. And other channels I see divert from their original content which was at least reviews for whatever game they like to covering THE WORST PERSON ON RU-vid for real this time, right? Even with that, Id say the video still very much stands: A lot of the people reporting on this are there to reap the benefits, and not much else. Its evident in how fast they release their videos and how little research they do, generally relying on each other for info. They dont actually care, they just want the dollar. If they did, then they wouldnt constantly give surface level takes with low effort content that only serves to at best signal boost an allegation, sometimes without any consideration for falsehoods or overexaggerations, just reporting what everyone else is saying for ez views. Chris actively interacted with someone called Shadman, a popular cp artist (and I don’t mean that in an over exaggerated way. He literally draws illegal shit). But I do agree with you when you say, “actions speak louder than words” because the actions Chris did was buy art from Shadman and display it on his walls. This combined with what he said on twitter is a pretty good indicator that it’s more than just “cringy” or “edgy” stuff. It’s one thing to joke about it, it’s another to actively participate in it, and that is exactly what Chris did. Then you do more disingenuous conflating with the Kevin Hart situation. So let me ask you, how, in any way, is some racist tweets similar to what Chris did? Then you go on to criticize the people who made videos on Chris and said that they’re “blowing it way out of proportion.” Have you even watched the videos? You have to understand, when you are a public figure, whether or RU-vidr or some other type of public figure, you are always up for criticism. Yes, there are bad criticisms that get thrown around from time to time but majority of the time, it is valid. You then say that on the internet, you are guilty until proven innocent instead of the other way around. In some cases, that may be true. But in a lot of cases, the evidence is so damning, it’s impossible to defend against it. Also, on the internet, you’re not dealing with a court of law, you’re dealing with the court of public opinion and if the evidence is good enough to change the public opinion you’re done for, unless you can debunk all of the claims. You then say “do your own research” which I agree with, you should be your own individual and do your own research. But the problem here is that it’s coming from you, the guy who just said he hasn’t done any research just about a minute ago. This is just so hypocritical. Your advice isn’t bad, by no means, but how are you not going to practice what you preach? 3. But after briefly going over the situation, you say that you’re not defending anyone… that is what this entire video comes across as. To be fair, hating on stuff you know exaftly why you hate is a great trend. If they actually knew what they talked about. But whatever. Most negative opinions that get mocked are always the uneducated ones and people not knowing what they are talking about - both because of ego and because you are not supposrd to interact with what you dislike. I dislike a lot of games. But in the end it's both just literally preference, and even if i wanted to say that it sucks - i couldn't, because at one point i just quit, and couldn't bother to boot it up again.
Those videos are always the ones, that i literally cannot bring myself to finish watching in any form. Their content is the equivalent of just pure clickbait. I click - get bored, then click away, because i don't give a shit. Especially given how they extend and stretch out their videos to 8 minutes without giving any actual substance. What can be said in 1 minute gets extended to 8 hours for that revenue. Maybe actually have something to say, rather than dilute your content with so much water, that it's a much better investment for me to just be entirely oblivious? Not even the adhd subtitles will save me from getting bored of watching meaningless content. Because i could always just do something that matters. Like drawing for myself, washing dishes, or organizing my room. Even going outside to just buy milk is a much more fulfilling experience than their content. Like all, all of these videos can be ignored entirely, if you just ask yourself "would i even care tomorrow?" Why do you search for a topic you dont want to be spoiled on? Why you read and watch the content that spoils it? The algorithm will suggest topics you actively search for/ click on. This whole video sounds like you are actively putting your self in "danger" of a spoiler and complaining that it happens. Not to mention that just by seeing a screenshot of a said game/movie/etc. is not really that bad since you dont know the context of it so you dont even know what it means, it could be anything. Unless you look up every detail about it, gaining the neccesary context to spoil yourself.

For me, whenever it's a case of wanting to cancel someone for always the same reason (being racist, being a pedophile), it's because those "cancel culture vultures" were guilty of that themselves at certain points in the past (usually school), got in grief that apparently society thinks it's wrong, and as a result, forced themselves to exaggeratingly "mirror" what they think society wants-which is these racist/rapist/pedophiles blacklisted from anything and being denied the chance to live a life-in order to fit in and hope that others don't point the finger to them the vultures. They target big RU-vidrs, companies, and celebrities because they are easy targets and these vultures are jealous of their fame and fortune.
