Claire is my other cat in case you didn't know, the other one seen in this video is a younger cat named Jesper who I don't think I've mentioned before on this channel.
Anyways this will probably be my last video for awhile, as mentioned before I'm bored of the RU-vid metagame but I really wanted to make this for myself and my family, hope you enjoy.

How did Claire pass away? She started becoming incredibly sick and refusing to eat or even move, I haven't had contact with her in a few years, she lives with my mother. She was telling me Claire would vomit everywhere and that she'd lost an absurd amount of weight, which is weird because she's usually really fat. My mother didn't know what to do so she contacted my grandfather who's a veterinarian and asked him if he could help at all. It seemed like to find out what was wrong with Claire it could take an extremely expensive surgery which may have lead to the conclusion that there was nothing we could do and it was uncurable, when it came down to it, it just wasn't worth it as heartbreaking as that was. My mom decided the best option after waiting for months to see if she'd get better was to put her down. It was an incredibly hard decision but it just seemed like what was right. She had Claire peacefully put down at the vet while holding her head in her hand and petting her. And that's how it went. Claire lived to be 9 years old, almost 10, which is still a bit too young. Westley lived to about 12 I think until he was killed by a sudden heart attack in his sleep. That one was a lot more impactful to me because it seemingly came out of nowhere. If you're wondering why I didn't make a Westley funeral considering he was basically the mascot of the channel it's because I was even less interested in RU-vid at the time and video editing in general. I believe that happened somewhere around 2019 or so when I was kinda at a low point and couldn't be bothered to bum myself out even more editing a video of my dead cat. Anyways, that's all I guess, I doubt anyone will care to read this but I decided to throw it here in case I get comments from long-time viewers asking some of the questions I talked about here. Once again this will probably be my last video for a long time, thanks for reading if you actually care about my stupid cats.
