This is brilliant. We have been meaning to change from Gas hob to induction in our new home and needed to rewire but this makes it possible for us not to and just plug into the current ignition
10A is recommended for old and unknown Schuko sockets and plugs. Permanent 16A is only possible if the socket and plug are new, solide and from a good manufacturer. The French even allow 20A on the 2.5mm² wire.
I am replacing a 3,600Watt Neff oven with a 3,300Watt Neff oven. The existing oven was installed by a qualified electrician who installed a dedicated consumer unit for the purpose. Will I be able to transfer the connector from the old oven on the new one?
Ive had to replace the fixed door hinges on my AEG twice over 10 years... its a real faff... the fridge recently died and ive now replaced the fridge for a sliding door option...
With these measurements, is my integrated fridge freezer 60/40 or 70/30 ? Top outer door height 125cm ..top machine height 104cm ... Bottom door height 72cm , machine height 65cm . Thank you .
Bosch confirm power is limited to 3kw with plug on but if you remove the plug and install hardwired into a dedicated hob connection power output is increased to (setting 4 + 4kw) 3.7kw.
I believe the most important difference is not explained. Customer wants to know which should is most suitable for who? Based on the working principle I believe . If you live in a hot humid country....go for a vented. If you live where there is winter and cold air, then you are better off with the condenser air.
I just want to comment on how amazing you are with your presentation and thorough explanation of these two machines. You deseve a promotion for real. Top seller I bet. (I know its an old post but have to say this ) Seriously impressive !! 😃
My plug in hob has a sticker that says it needs grounding and when I plug it into the mains I hear a beep (I'm hoping you're going to tell me that, that just means there is power going to the hob!)
So the answer is yes you can. You have to alter the plinth board, no biggy. You have to make sure that the freestanding appliance dimensions are not greater than width, height and depth of the built-in appliance. The upside is usually better performance, greater choice and significant increase in capacity.
I have just moved into a flat and the machine isn't working, plus i can see that the top machine doesn't exist!! Was told it's dangerous as it is a fire hazard. It seems that the space the work top is lower and when I asked in Currys to purchase a washing and have a metal lid put on so it will fit under the worktop they laughed and said No,, they don't do that anymore. I can't afford to have work top Raised , but I just watched your video and it seems it can be done. Please help me with how I get this done. Desperate as we can't do any washing Tracey
i had a simualr problem for the last 30 years, . Except mine was caused by the kitchen fitter not allowing for floor tiles, and once the floor was tiled the machins wouldnt fit. I found that you can modify the wheels/stands to give you some clearance. Or as you said the top can be modified or removed. I just put a peice of ply on one unit
Our build under double oven sit on its own feet it's not in a cupboard and it has a 65L main oven it's much bigger than today's built under. It's been a nightmare trying to replace as we cannot find anything like it in the uk now why did they stop making free standing built under double ovens. The main oven door open side was and top oven grill pull down. It's such a shame as we now had to put a new larder unit in to have built in oven fitted. All you had to do was cut the kick board to half size .
I've just moved into a new house, and the intergrated washer is terrible. I've got a 6 month old washer dryer I want to use instead. Is it easy enough to remove the old one? I'm not that bother if the kitchen gets damaged as we will begetting a new one soon.
Really helpful video; that's great. Answers my question, so clearly explained. Have you read the book They Ask, You answer? You've hit the nail on the head with this video.
you can actually get fridges that don't need to be put inside a stuffy old cupboard....which means friends and family won't need to ask where the fridge is.
