Love this sermon!! My life actually became more challenging when committed to I following the direction of the Holy Spirit, but I was given everything I needed to endure and persevere. And wow, what a discussion we all could have about God’s sovereignty over our lives verses our free will. Lately I have pictured God at a computer (He doesn’t really need) constantly recalculating my path accommodating for every mistake I made with decisions that opposed His will for me. But then, did He know in advance that I would make wrong choices since He is sovereign and has dictated our lives in advance? Wow! It makes my head spin! Such a mystery!
Amen!! As followers of Christ we should be sold out to Jesus such that when suffering comes; we consider it a joy as it produces spiritual maturity! ❤💯
Wow! This was the third sermon I listened to last week that referenced Acts and the Holy Spirit in addition to the release of the song “All of a Sudden” by Elevation that I’ve been waiting for since I first heard it last year which is all about the power of the Holy Spirit. I’ve been reviewing each sermon, and though they were all unique in the chapters and references utilized, where they overlapped with similar messages seems to be a what God needed me to hear, and I’m just so filled with reverence and gratitude to my Heavenly Father for how intricately God works to communicate with me exactly what I need to hear and in ways I would never expect. There’s so much about your sermon I loved Colby, but this is getting too long, but I’m so grateful for your message and appreciate how God works through you. Thank you for all you do to serve Him!
