Thank you so much for that video! I’m getting back into the camper lifestyle after a few years and this was by far the most laid back no stress tutorial out there! Stay safe and happy travels friends!
Wow I think that was the best compliment I've ever gotten, thank you so much and congratulations on getting back into the RV lifestyle you stay safe as well and have a great day
First thing we wanna welcome to the RV world it is an amazing life, just like a home on wheels, we are glad we're able to help you and we also wanna thank you very much for commenting hope you have a great day and enjoy your new RV
Very nice job! I'm going to have to do something like that on our motorhome. Unfortunately, I can't blame this on a horse, unless I want to refer to myself as a horse. I really appreciate you posting your work. It will help me in my adventure.
I now declare you a horse LOL, if you take your time i think you'll be impressed with your results not only that the amount of money you're gonna save, let us know how it works out, we appreciate you commenting good luck and have a great day
@@CampingAndRiding there's absolutely nothing better than living in a small town away from the rat race, I married a country girl took me out of the rat race 30 years ago I would never go back, but that's why we all have an RV to get away but The funny thing is we mostly end up in a small town with not mush going on and love it
I'm assuming you're talking about the levels that I had to attach to the RV they did not come with the RV and yes I had to attach them I believe they cost me $5 for both, or if you're talking about the leveling blocks you do have to buy those on your own also , those two little levels that I put on workout fantastic I believe around every fourth time we take the RV out we double check them with a level on the inside of the RV and they're always correct, and what a time saver they are, we appreciate the question and we really thank you for commenting hope you have a great day
You are absolutely correct, that's why I have purchased one about 4 months ago, I have lost two hose fittings and since the 90° fitting it's put no stress on it at all, we really appreciate you commenting and have a great day
I suppose you could but my problem with using WD40 is a little greasy and you don't want all that dust sticking to it, but I have never tried it if you do let me know how it works out, have a great day and I hope this helps
It boggles me that some fifth wheels have five or even SIX slides!. I can't imagine how much that saps the main power supply. Wonder if they ever set up solar panels to operate them. If I ever have the money, I'd get a fifth wheel with only one slide. Six would be a nightmare to deal with.
I couldn't imagine dealing with 6 slide outs, not just the preventative maintenance but like you mentioned the power it takes and you know eventually you're gonna have to repair one or two but in my case never 6 LOL, thank you for commenting and we hope you have a great day
No it's a park sorry a State Park in Central Florida close to Busch Gardens, but now you're gonna make me look up Jasmine island it sounds interesting thank you, and we really appreciate you commenting have a great day
Thanks for all the work you guys put into this, it's been a great help to me in getting my Max Steel 18x25 carport properly secured. We moved out of Cape Canaveral 17 years ago because of the hurricanes and wound up in Chattanooga. Now we have to be wary of tornadoes...
Ohh I wouldn't wanna deal with tornadoes just like I don't wanna have to do with hurricanes but yet here we are in Central Florida where they always seem to pass over us, i'll tell you what though the setup t.... had been through three hurricanes and it's still standing strong not a bend in it, good luck to you guys and thank you very much for the compliment and for commenting hope you have a great day
Excellent video. I bought both those lubes. I didn't take really good care of our last rv. I plan on changing for this one. I'm going to check all of what you mentioned, when we set up for each trip. Also, I'm going to do it when we winterize, and dewinterize our trailer. I have to install roof vent covers, stabilizer supports, a leveling gauge for the front, and a padded frame for the solar panel, for when we close it up for the season. I'm going to make that out of pool noodles.
Watched the entire video. Very disjointed, very poor quality, thumbs way, way down, sorry guys, but your video is about the worst RV setup video I've ever watched on RU-vid.
Yes we do absolutely, like I mentioned on the video we had left ours behind at the prior campsite and have since purchased a new one, like the old saying goes better safe than sorry
Man .... I watched your entire video i am in a very similar situation, thanks for sharing...just one humble recommendation.dont eat too much on the street,, use your stove more and take care of yourself...exercise and healthy eating is key
Yeah yeah yeah I know I know rose tells me that everyday she's even having me eat what I consider to be fake meat LOL, I do appreciate the concern and your recommendation but since that video I have lost 50 lbs because of the fake meat LOL, we and especially rose thank you for commenting hope you have a great day and stay safe out there
Under a full load running everything in the RV we've been lasting about 9 hours if not a little longer on one tank, I hope this answers your question have a good day
It lasts us at least 9 hours running AC and the RV but it also has lasted as long as 11 to 12 hours, but honestly with a full load you will last at least nine hours I know we haven't had to get up at night to refill it, hopes this helps and have a great day
This week my wife and I (young thirties with two under two and three husky fur balls) picked up our first toy hauler. 28ft double axle and are so excited. We are a motocross racing family and are sick of the tent camping at the race tracks! We also love camping with our huskies. This video helped remind me of the things my parents taught me as a kid about our camper. Thank you so much, Rose is my mother maiden name, so pretty. Have a wonderful week and thank you RV Community for your help!
I agree rose is a beautiful name when I met my wife she was the first person I ever met with the name rose, a very heartfelt congratulations on your new toy hauler RV now you got a place to keep your bikes and a place you can call home to rest after a day of motocrossing which by the way sounds like fun and a place to keep your Huskies cool and your kids comfortable it is like a home away from home, again rose and I congratulate you and let us know how it goes the first time out we look forward to hearing from you again thank you for commenting have a great day and stay safe out there
Congratulations on your soon to be travel trailer, I think you're gonna love having one they are a lot of fun, and we really wanna thank you for commenting have a great day and let us know how it goes your first time out good luck
I don't know of any law Nora have I heard of one saying I cannot drive with a generator with gas in it, our generator has never gotten flooded from going from campsite to campsite
