An avid car enthusiast for many years that lives within close proximity to major car museums and car shows that feature unique and hard to find cars of all varieties. I also post scenes from movies (shorts) I like from time to time. Cheers 🍻
Too bad we did not get to see under the hood... Was it original or restomod, what about the frame..? Replaced or original, suspension - same questions.... Should have interviewed the owner at least...
I agree, it would have been nice to at least see under the hood. This was a small car meet and many of the owners were elsewhere. I always try and get accurate information about these cars but sometimes the owners just aren't available.
I did this for one of the three monologues i needed for a completion on my school. I wasnt the best in our company, but this monologue won me the competition. And the 20 dollar gift card for coffee 💀
"Switch to DCS down raging. Picking up some hull ionisation. Where's the goddamn beacon? There it is." Everytime I pull out of the drive, I repeat these words.
It does have RideTek airbag setup. This is a one-off custom for Hetfield so no production potential. kustomrama.com/wiki/James_Hetfield%27s_1937_Lincoln
@@nismogropo I can restore the federal bumpers while still on the car . Results will be original look and forever lasting. As long as you don't get in a collision. 100 hours labour at 100 per hour. Well , I know that's some serious cake. No , I don't want the job. Just saying
I was under the impression that the same car was used in both films. I think they made 5 of these for filming but only one was the hero prop. The paint job on Batman Returns version looks glossier. It was offered for sale recently: phl17.com/automotive/this-1989-batmobile-for-sale-is-a-genuine-movie-prop-but-its-not-cheap/amp/
I love this restoration of the original theatrical versions. Me and my brother in law downloaded online and burned them onto Blu Ray discs. Why I even bought some 3 disc Blu Ray cases to keep my Blu Ray discs in them and found some cover art for the case online. I’m a major supporter of the line “Han shot first”.
My brother bought one in Kansas City, MO, around 1963, if I remember right. I think he paid $900 and it ran well, but he couldn't afford the continual upkeep. Sold it after six moths. He took me for a ride in it once (I was 17) and what a thrill. Your butt six inches off the ground at 75 mph! Geez Leweez!!!
