Thanks. I really dislike the term 'school refuser', as it implies that the kid is at fault. It is fairer, and more effective, to look at how schools might be at fault - then we can identify changes to make them into places that kids will feel more comfortable attending.

At this point quitting seems like the better option even with a union involved who knows if much would change. This feels as bad if not worse than being with my abusive ex ( though not going back!)

I have Autism and recently my Director and Superintendent pulled me into a surprise meeting and told me “I was a problem and I need to change who I am while I work the rest of my contract out”- All because a coworker (who wanted my job position) made a complaint that I walked in and out of a room they were in with saying hi, making her feel so uncomfortable she no longer wanted to come to work until I was spoke to”

Funny how when content is pro Marxist, everybody acts like neurodiverse people are all gull1blé people who need guidance but not when it’s pro capitalist. If you try to argue with these people saying that capitalism is especially harmful to us then they’ll pull the “You don’t speak for all of them” card. There is a good case for proving the neurological differences between rich people and poor people being similar to the division between neurotypical and autistic. That's not even a Marxist or socialist point, it's been known since the time of Christ. Now that's not to say that rich people are inherently evil of course, but their wealth will always have a social impact
