Every time I watch there are books I put on my "be on the lookout" list. That uncanny x-men promo looks really neat! I keep going back and forth on dazzler's solo series. Really liked her in x-men but not sure she'd keep my interest in a solo series I also did the math when you pulled out that wizard book. Its hard to believe that I was 26 years old when x-men came out! Does NOT feel like the year 2000 was that long ago! How many more videos in this series? Curious if you'll give the total number of books you got. Looks like it was a great sale with great books
Im always adding books to my wish list too when I watch other haul videos! I’m not sure I’ll like Dazzler. But that’s why i only get them cheap. If I get into it and don’t like it, it will have been a small investment. Right now it’s fun to hunt for. Time flies! Can’t believe all those 90s books were 30 years ago! As for the hauls from the sale, I think it’ll be 5 videos in all. It was a total of just over 200 books.
Hey there! Great video! Just a heads up... The Astonishing X-Men Authentix Edition with the sketch cover and the certificate of authenticity, is not at all related to the Joss Whedon and John Cassaday series, but is a variant/limited edition of the #1 from an earlier series with the same name, by Howard Mackie and Brandon Peterson, published in 1999. That series was part of the "X-Men: The Shattering" crossover that run through the X-titles back then.
If you ever want a reprint in HD of that TF print out I can probably provide that digital service especially if you're going to reprint or POC the cut out with your current low res one. I specialize in HD digital restoration/blow up for modern printing especially of comic covers/pages.
check out Cybernary 2.0 if you like Eric Canete(think Aeon Flux type art), you can find it in the bargain bins. hey thanks for the info on that Jae Lee Transformers/Joe series. i've not been big on Transformers or Joe comics as an adult but i like Jae Lee and now knowing of the World War 2 slant taken on the story i'm in.

RE: IN -Universe Marvels Comics... in addition to THOR I believe there were FF & Spider-man versions of these 616 comics. Not certain of any others, but would be REALLY surprised if an X-Men one didn't exist. Don't have these but DO recall ads / solicits for these two!!

Nice great for reading .My fear is having too many short boxes .I use to collect in my teens 80s had Six short boxes of good stuff ..in life it was all stolen . Now I just collecting minor old runs and Keys no no CGC for me lol .Going to keep to 3 short boxes…Thanks for the post
Amazing books! It's really hard to beat a 50 cent comic book sale! Nice to see things are back to normal. I don't think I saw a single DC book 😂 Awesome books for sure. Especially there at the end. Always great seeing something with some value on the cheap I was going to email and brag but I think I'll just do it here. About a month ago we took a trip to Omaha to see the zoo. Did a little shopping and came to a really neat store called the amazing imaginarium. They had a few comics so I took a look. I found a brave and the bold #54 for 10 bucks. This is considered the first appearance of the teen titans! I asked to make sure the price was correct (it was). And then I bought it and brought it home. Can't find anything severely wrong with it Went east a couple hours yesterday to a 25% off haul as well. Came back with about half a short box. Had a great time digging as well

loved the hand writing story...I worked at a shop at the end of the 80's thru the early 20000's and now when I go to local sales I'll sometimes see my hand writing on peoples books they're reselling all these yrs later. I've also sold my collection about 6x's over and sometimes I'll see my old short boxes floating around... I could tell they were mine by all the stickers I put on em
@@northgardencomics I'll be honest, I normally do digital. Easy to zoom and dim or brighten depending on what my old eyes and progressive lenses need at that specific time lol. I love looking through the originals for the art. I do really like the way omnis display though. Always enjoy looking at them in the background while watching your videos
That's a good Batman run, Court of owls was outstanding, the rest of the run was enjoyable but for me it wasn't as enjoyable because the court of owls was new and fresh and then Scott Snyder had to go and stick the joker in his story, and I'm just so burned out with the joker.
I just can't let those silver age issues get away either. Just picked up Tales of Suspense #73 that is in nice condition except for part of the bottom right corner torn off. Got it at a new vendor mall we have been going to and the vendor had everything at 50 percent off for the store anniversary. Got lots of 50 cent issues to go along with it. Gotta love finding those.
Minute 3: 21 "Which would you keep" --I would carefully remove both covers and then switch the covers so the better copy has the value stamp. I would then carefully re-staple the covers to the comics.
Someone else mentioned that as well. If I were better skilled at the finer points of comic repair I'd attempt that but I'm a little too clumsy. For now, I'll keep both and note the difference.
Talking to my buddy on the way to Steel City Con talking about how tricky the THOR Omni eds. were to find... so thought I'll do the run... of course the Simonson took years!! Still need to do upgrades on the Frog ones!!
That’s cool you have them all! I’m missing 2 issues including 337 which will obviously not be a dollar book. I’m happy to have the Simonson omnibus though so I can read it all.
Love your FF graphic comics box... The only one I"ve seen is the cover of FF #1 from 2018. I hate that cover, so of course that was the one they designed the box around!! Yours is much nicer and & it's Kirby. At least we know HE could draw the THING!!
