It makes more sense for the Portuguese to get to the Philippines or Indonesia and say "is this India?", than getting to Brazil and ask "is this India?"
Here's my way of cooking this abomination. DICED THE GARLIC AND ONION. then saute in with a little amount of oil. until golden brown. then add your Tomato or Kamatis fry it with the garlic and onion until the tomato get soft. and put the corned beef reduce the liquid until in look dry but not to dry. then add water. your sinigang looks reddish if you add the corned beef after you put the water. so sauteing the corned beef before water is added can reduce the color and oily of the soup. then lastly add water until it covers the corned beef the add the vegetable then add until its halfway of the vegetable don't submerge the vegetable. then close the lid. when the soup is semi-soft add the sinigang mix. but here's the catch. before adding the sinigang mix the mix with water first warm or hot for no clump and mix it until no clumps is left. Add salt and pepper for the desire taste then put it in a bowl with rice or other dishes. Hope this helps.
