At least, it was eaten by its natural predator. My sister's hamster was eaten by my hamster, which freaked out the both of us because we were raised on Hamtaro and didn't expect that.

Rats somehow die in just, the most brutal ways imaginable. Rats getting eaten alive is just merely a part of how rats can somehow die horribly. I remember a story where my friend told me he had a rat that he couldn't find for two weeks because it ran off somewhere or smth and when his father decided to chill in the living room and turn on the fan(the types of fan where they're at the ceiling) he just heard his rat being GRINDED alive. Like, the rat literally just getting grinded by the fan. When his father checked out what caused the noise they found the rat pet they had literally shredded. The rat somehow got inside the wall and got his ass grinded alive.💀

Reminds me of when my sister's hamster for her science project got mauled by my brother's cat. In my elementary school days, my friends and I bought some hermit crabs as pets from the stalls outside my school. Others bought spiders for "cock fighting". I didn't know rats were sold too in other places.

Reminds me of the time when a bird suddenly flew inside our house, coincidentally flew downstairs and immediately got chased and almost eaten by our pet cat. Now im traumatized after having to force the deceased bird from our cat and disposing it

I also won a rat like that,for 5 pesos (the one where you pick a little paper and need a two digit number to win) and my cat was actually afraid of it even tho it's so small. I haven't got a proper cage yet so when I was out I also put it in a box which it chewed through and escaped. I think my cat saw it and panicked so it started running around the room and knocked things down. Siblings ran into that room when they heard the heavy foldable wooden crib fell down and the cat escaped through the door. Apparently the rat had been unfortunate enough to be near the crib when it fell down and got crushed. I've only had it for a few hours. RIP rat
