The 10-piece “jazz and pop orchestra” BOSCO is an all-round collective that was founded in 2003 by arranger, producer and trumpeter Daan Bogers. The band played at countless festivals, theater stages, events and was on TV several times and seen and heard on the radio. In addition to their own programs, BOSCO worked over the years with various artists, including the rockabilly sensation “Liptease” from 2015 to 2017 and The Voice winner Dennis van Aarssen with whom the band won an Edison in 2020.
BOSCO has a reputation for versatility. The band is extremely dynamic and moreover, anything but a static orchestra, but a collective where both the pleasure and the quality are shining.
BOSCO is currently preparing for a new theater tour with 'gypsy crooner' Johnny Rosenberg, with whom the band can also be seen at various festivals.
Don't understand why he hasn't won this show. Goodness, he's the only singer in the whole tribute band group that did backphrasing time and again. Listen carefully, he sorta 'play' with his songs; only great singers can and will do that, like Elvis and MJ. Kudos to Peter Douglas. . . .
