I can only listen to a certain amount of this stuff.......so,I get some of it .....the bit that you can't do anything about anything and just shut up, accept it, work around it ......well don't we all do this anyway? But if the same thing keeps happening then do something about it whatever that involves. We are not all born to saintly behaviour or thinking, so why do we need to pretend. I can only think of one aspect of keeping quiet and calm and that's your blood pressure!
We are grateful our educational and philosophical content has a profound positive impact for viewers like you. There is always a brighter day ahead with opportunity, as long as we keep going. Thank you for watching and supporting our channel. Stay Stoic friend.
Another video, another powerful introduction to set the tone. Thank you. "To rise each morning and face the world with its complexities, requires a courage that is all too real, yet rarely acknowledged. Because the courage to continue to endure to persist in the face of life's relentless trials is perhaps the most commendable of all. Let us therefore embrace each day as an opportunity to exercise our inner strength, to demonstrate a courage that is not born of circumstance but of choice." - Stoicism Legends

This video is a powerful reminder of the timeless wisdom in Stoic philosophy. Marcus Aurelius' quote really hits home focusing on clarity, gratitude, and acting for the common good in each moment is something we can all strive for. The breakdown of key lessons like resilience, detachment, and embracing change are especially relevant in today's fast-paced world. Thank you for such valuable insights!!!
The opening line is so powerful and sets the tone for the video. Thank you, and great job. Amazing insights. "Imagine watching a river flow. The water you see is constantly moving, never the same from one moment to the next. Life is much like that river-ever-changing, never static." - Stoicism Legends
"All you need are these: certainty of judgment in the present moment: action for the common good in the present moment; and an attitude of gratitude in the present moment for anything that comes your way." - Marcus Aurelius The Brave Mind ⬇⬇⬇ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0g16V4gh3Qw.htmlsi=hMBvr9bRLEt392AQ 💡 Key Lessons 00:00 - Stoic Wisdom 01:27 - Clarity-The Gateway to Mental Freedom 05:48 - Rationality-Harnessing Reason to Overcome Overthinking 11:15 - Acceptance 17:16 - Impermanence-Embracing Change to Free Your Mind 22:59 - Resilience-Transforming Adversity into Strength 28:27 - Emotional Agility 34:47 - Detachment-Stepping Back to Gain Clarity and Peace 41:48 - Reflective Meditation-Cultivating Inner Stillness 49:05 - Embracing Amor Fati 55:47 - Indifference
You must remind yourself on a daily basis that every moment we have can be our last. We are lucky to have each moment. Cherish this thought and realization, focus on what you can control and not what you cannot, and there you will find strength and peace. Practising the principles of Stoic Philosophy is a lifetime endeavor. We are always able to improve ourselves.
Another wise saying is "Never say never" Charles Dickens wasn't officially Stoic, but he knew that the duality of the word "Never", it is never too late to improve upon a situation, and yet the discerning mind knows when his attention is better put elsewhere as there is *never* too late to turn a path that bears no fruit, all rules have exceptions, I believe that there's more wisdom in knowing this than to go "YOU SHOULD NEVER SAY THIS" ...Alas, seems modern stoicism requires money and that requires the bringing of viewers, I respect that, doesn't mean we can't learn bounds and leaps beyond where we all started Good stuff! The only Stoicism channel that hasn't made me go "Okay that doesn't work, and just because oh "Aurelius Benevolentus the Legendary or whatever' did something six thousand years ago in which such a value applied, doesn't mean it still applies today Great job, I love these advices and reflections rather than what the the many similar videos suggest "Do things this way, or you're dumb, why should I explain when you should automatically accept my truth since "Borealis Alexander the fifth saved his kingdom when he said this"

This quote from lesson 2 speaks to me. I am currently planning an event right now and the weather isn't looking like it will be favorable. "Imagine you’re planning a large family gathering or a wedding event. The weather forecast starts to look grim, threatening to ruin your outdoor activities. While the initial reaction might be frustration or panic, a Stoic approach would shift focus to what can be controlled" Thank you for these videos.
