Hi I’m taking MSC Fantasia on a 7 nights Mediterranean cruise as well this upcoming Dec 2024. How far from where the ship dorks to the excursion destinations? Some said it could be 2 hours away
I'm not convinced by this. It can't work properly as the foil needs to be heat sealed to the plastic bowl. I tried it exactly as shown in the video and coffee and water leaked everywhere. What does work is an 8mm hole drilled in the side of the capsule under the locating tab (see several other videos), plugged with a grommet or cork after refilling with coffee by means of a small funnel and spoon. This method works even better than the refillable pods you can buy.
@@fanplant Yes I agree the hole and stopper method is the best. Make sure the hole is as large as possible - at least 8mm - and use a tapered stopper. Fill with medium grinds via a metal funnel for ease of insertion.
hi thanks for your post, but it didnt work after following your instructions either the foil needs to be thicker or glued down because the water is coming out sparingly and coming through the sides im gonna try a thicker foil and tape down to make tight. kept the codes though
@justitiaespero8207 8 hours ago This comment was meant for you but somehow ended up in the wrong place. Maybe I am a muppet but I did buy a reusable pod which I used precisely according to the instructions. Sure, it works, but it's not as good as the makers' pods; in particular I've been unable to get the espresso's characteristic crema with the refillable one. If anyone else has, I'd be interested to hear about it. I want the options of refilling the original pods with my own coffee beans as well as using the makers' pods - all in search of the best possible drink. I think that's quite unmuppet-like myself. What do others think?
@@justitiaespero8207 do yourself a favour darling and treat yourself to a proper espresso machine, I think that's best for you and your ambition on coffee
@@muratkarabeyaz3344No need - after a few minor adjustments I'm now entirely happy with the way my setup is working. But thanks for your kind and much valued advice.

This method no good for Americano as new foil is not adhered to the used to disc to form a airtight seal I've tested and tried it empty with instant coffee and even 2 layers of foil yes I saved the bar code from previous use Basically you need to glue the new foil to the old t disc
And how did u adhere the bar code to foil so machine intellibrew system would know what type of drink you'd like Ive tried this and honestly my machins did not like it I tried it without coffee in disc so I wouldn't waste coffee
It works but don't press the coffee in too hard because the machine won't cope with the extra pressure needed to push the water through. Also look where your bar code reader is on the machine, front or side? There are two bar codes on the pods and they're different. You can't use the front code on the side reader or vice versa.
😂 very good idea I’ve just been making a brew and said to my friend that the coffee is still in the capsule then I come across your screening(synced) 😂 algorithm is on point😂😂😂
