Thanks for the video! Shame you lost the mudguard installation part as I am a newbie to bikes and was looking for tips. I am also London based and I have both the Z16 and Z20. Z20 is much lighter, Z20 has the pump in seat, Z20 has gears and it is much easier to fold than the Z16. Z16 has the integrated brake light and mud guards installed. It also folds up smaller and looks more unique. On Z16 access settings by turning the throttle and holding the on button on control panel. Fully charge the battery to get max speed of 25kmh. will test the Z20 tomorrow and post up a video of them side by side.
Hi. I'm considering to buy this bike. Its been 3 months since u uploaded this video. Can u gv some review of the pros and cons? Is the seat hard or soft? Tires tube or tubeless and suitable on offroad?
I bought the z20 after watching your video and I've riden it today. However, there's a rattling noise which I'm not sure where it's from. Do you have that problem?
Hello! Thanks for the video. Would you mind doing a video where you take it for a ride? Does it take you up hills easily? How long does your battery last? How fast can you go with electric and peddaling together? Thanks!!
Thank you for review Can I use the bike when it’s raining because I have scheduled and I need to leave the bike about 9 hours outside when it’s raining so what do think.
Finally an English speaking video about the Himo Z20.. Thank you so much! Are you happy with the bike? Does it really reach a maximum speed of 25km on full electric mode?
@@sillymastcell4328 Odd question but do you know the diameter of the seatpost? It's because I purchased a z20 and would like to buy a seatpost with suspension before the bicycle arrives but I can't find any information about the seatpost's diameter.
I also bought mine from Geekbuying.. but no helmet or handy towel... just a bike hmmm. The product description also promised extra pedals.. did you get an extra pair?
Kwame Owusu thats strange. we were pleasantly surprised by the free towel and helmet. However when it arrived as seen in the video the gear shifter was broken with the lost piece nowhere to be seen inside the box. definitely not a shipping injury. hmmmmm. anyways no we didnt get any spare pedals
I like this bike but I wanna travel 30 km with it, wiht your experience is it possible? and could you remove the 25km/h speed limit ? i dont mind to peddal but needs to be faster than 30 km/h !
As the guy above me expressed, I am also happy to finally find a English video of a Himo Z20 consumer. Just FYI: I'm pretty sure Himo have said themselves that they aren't the same company are Xiaomi. Nice bike, though! Update: Himo said they are a subsidary company of Xiaomi.
Hi, I just wanted to add that the reflector at the back is also a light. You just have to press a button that is under the reflector to turn it on and off. We found it by chance 🤭
You probably dont care but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can watch all of the new series on instaflixxer. Have been streaming with my gf for the last couple of days xD
On himo z20, I have an error code "22H" in MID and HIGH mode so it doesn't work (can't be gasped). Has anyone experienced this and what is the solution?
My personal USER REVIEW : Location UK FINAL VERDICT : DONT BUY any of these unreliable bikes. They will fail you unsuspectingly in few weeks of usage. I had two diff brands (one was HIMO Z20 by Xiomi) for few months till recently. Don't be fooled by the fancy specs.... Review points below : 1. The electronics and battery is a gimmick, will FAIL you suddenly after few weeks of use, unexpected power surges and make it ACCIDENT prone on the road. 2. The bike is TOO heavy to fold by just one person and the latches to fold are super hard that fingers slip and hurt. The bike folds too thick which is never shown in the vids properly. Taking them in and out of train was a nightmare 3. Assisted range is LESS than 20 km or 12-13 miles, then it becomes a dead weight to cycle hard. The odo never displays the true range and barely visible in the daytime. 4. Headlight is just a fancy KIDS torchlight. The seat pump is seems good to have at first but adds to deadweight, this impractical, it better to have a small pump handy instead which is just a few grams. 5. The WORST is the customer service, they will motivate you to just get rid of this junk to some unsuspecting second owner, instead to giving a service assistance/ advice or a prompt refund.
