Reminds of nightshifts working as security guard in the City of London back in 2001-2002. I later became a London bus driver and used to hum the tune to myself when on duty.
Still have the original CD...my dad was a record dealer who sadly fell asleep at the wheel in 1993. The weight of the vinyl in his car plunged the car underwater. He's the reason I love this band...I owe you it all for showing me taste in music 🎶🙌

I listened to The Housemartins, saw them a few times. Then the Beautiful South came along - an entirely different approach to music. My dad died 5 years ago, and I was amazed to find this 79 year old former sailor had every Beautiful South album ever. You don't expect your pensioner parents to be cool.... but they're cooler than you realise
