I Remeber playing in a band with jake gibbons at the city tavern supporting you lot, i was told not to bring my drums as they would be provided by you, hahaaa i had to go fetch them coz your drummer went mental when he thought i would be useing his kit, great days.

I have the original Fanatics 16 Track multitrack tape made at Worksop Studios, Redditch. With sessions dated 12/11/88 [Suburban Love Song, My Brother Sarah]; 15/11/88 [Tightrop, untitled]; 2/4/89 [Shes Got It, Justine]; and 4/4/89 [Jenifer, When I'm 65]. All were recorded on a Fostex B16 Recorder.
Have you got any footage of ocean colour scene at london ica in 91? I've got audio of the gig but not the proper date of the gig, i know you're the guy to ask, even my clippings from that time it's only subterranea in london nothing from ica. I'm sure its 23rd march 91 but I have another bootleg that says its april 91. Any info would be great also if youd like to trade any live stuff let me know. Thanks

'Normal Town' was a Fanatcis song (see documentary ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-y-BDr7Kxg7U.html ) so they wanted to move on. 'Muff Winwwod' : great indeed, but maybe they didn't wnat to get a call from Spencer Davies Group!. 'I don't want to be a giraffe because love it seems don't grown on trees' Simon was rightly very pleased with that one

Remember being in a band called Maroon, and seeing these guys at Rugeley s Red Rose Theatre. Was that impressed, we travelled to Brum to watch these guys at the jug.
I've uploaded Ocean Colour Scene live at the Borderline from October 1990. The leap in the band is amazing. Great moments with Damon's bass breaking, Simon doing Steve Marriot impressions and the crowd going bonkers during 'Sway'. Check out The La's graffitti backstage!

@@shuggie Blimey! I have tons of Great Betrayal (and the offhsoot acoustic band Political Grapefruit). Many original Simon Fowler songs including '3rd Shade of Green' what became 'Folky's Folk Faced' 'Justine'... mostly live and rehearsals, some demos... I have photos, press clippings, posters etc collated, but not the music...
