And, I really liked the example that he gave about colorism, anti blackness in Haitian politics during President Antoine Simon’s tenure. RastafarI love. Lanmou RastafarI. I really liked the thesis or essay questions that Professor Cassimir proposed to have his students write about. The best answers would require a description of the environment and the socio cultural tenets of the time. I also loved the story that he related about the Madan Sara who disrupted the “ respectable” office environment by voicing her protest against the mistreatment that she and others received.
