This is awesome!!! Thank u for posting.what i LOVE ABOUT THIS SHOW IS THE PRETTIEST 1980S FASHION, GORgeous pastel colors suits, the makeup, hair, high heels, pretty dresses, puff shoulders, ribbons, bows, satin, lace!!!
I was never a fan of Carson but still watched his shows for the guests. When we had Caron and Leetterman ....they alwayss had A-list stars....when there were so many still working. When hollywood/TV productions were "in their prime"....which isn't to say there aren't any good TV programming today but it's A LOT LESS...for qualiyt we have today Dick WOlf Prodution shoes and Donald Bellisario (still in operation)...but nothing really original and "destined to be a classic".....e.g. with legendary comedians and actors.....and "landmark TV shows" like Miami Vice--which did so much for pop culture and rviitlizing Miami...and their South Beach street...which was "dead" before MV ....MV made Miami an "in spot"....not just a place for retired Jewish couples. from up north....
"One of the painters" doesn't have a name? It's very interesting that he talks about the change to darker colors and there was a change in the color palette and it appears most people hated the change. I loved every single bit of it from beginning to the end of the 5th season.
Aw man, what a gem of a video! I get so happy when i find anything at all showing &/or telling about the behind the scenes workings of just about any televison show or movie! Thank you so much for uploading this! Remember how all of the production companies in the entertainment world seemed to have some standards and respect about the work they put out? 😅 They had MUCH more respect and way more considerstion back then for the consumers of their entertainment products too - aka, you and i - and therefore they HAD to put forth REAL effort & talent into creating QUALITY ENTERTAINMENT! SO MUCH of the production process nowadays is done with computers & software, so i dont find much interest in "behind the scenes" contents it seems like anymore. And if its not all CGI, then the entertainment is usually some shameful attempt at a remake, or whatever 5 mins of fame social media "star" doing literally nothing entertaining at all, "reality" TV, etc etc... Not to mention the "stars" are nothing like they used to be either. You cant reach any of them personally like this at all anymore, theyre rushed about with paparazzi acting an animal around them usually... I mean, why would you want to write some thoughtfelt letter to your favorite entertainer asking for their scribblegraph on a photo of themselves, when theyll probably never receive the letter in the first place??? INSTEAD, you can now twaddle at their twitters nonstop!😂 shoot em comment after comment after comment 24/7! Who knows... You might someday get a "👍" from them! 😱😍 Please forgive the senile ranting here people 😅 im making myself some personal quality entertainment 😂😂😂
I would often see him in Biscayne Baby in the Grove back in '86/'87, right above where he was signing autographs in this clip. I always thought it was surreal to see him at the club after watching him on Miami Vice earlier that night or the night before. 😅😅😅 80's Miami. Fun times.
