Your assuming it's a foot race It could will be an F,1 race. Does Liam Lawson have a dog. If he does, then that dog would be favourite, as New Zealand dogs are the best canine drivers in the World.
Turning left is because that's what spectators expect is to see vehicles (or horses) moving left to right in the English speaking world because that's how we read. It's also why a sideways stop light in the US is red on the left, and that's why Brooklands and Indianapolis were anti-clockwise, and when NASCAR came along four decades later it was already established. Nothing to do with the handedness of the vehicle, because we were moving anti-clockwise when LHD and RHD drove together and you would have an assistant driver sitting next to you. Single driver vehicles weren't a thing in motorsports for many years, until somebody tried one at Indy.
GTWC needs some more recognition man. They have America, Asia, Europe and Australia championships but I only follow Europe so here are the races in July: 19-21 Hockhenheim Sprint Cup 26-28 Nürburgring Endurance Cup
Well, I don't think so. You wanna have more Americans in the sport? They're bound to have more drivers enter F1 if this truly signed. You wanna know what happens when you let America enter? More crashes! More fights! More drama! Because they are suckers for it.
This is not why. It’s from a safety concern. American cars are left hand drive, most accidents in oval racing stem from a car’s centrifugal force pushing it towards the outside wall. So turning left meant that in case of an accident, most of the time the driver side would be shielded from impact by an oncoming car.
No, motorsports go around the track that way because Indianapolis did it first almost 40 years earlier, and they did it when you would have a driver and assistant driver sitting side by side and no seatbelts, and RHD/LHD vehicles in the same race. And the reason Indianapolis did it is because spectators expect to watch going left to right in the English speaking world. Before that, the US ran point to point road course races.
Two hours is not that long bruh💀 if you can't hold it in, it does not mean that others can't too. 1)They are well trained professionals. 2) They use a bathroom before the race. 3) They are experiencing a huge adrenaline rush and simply don't have time to sh themselves...
How moonshine running through the mountains created circle track racing instead of road course racing is kinda weird. The road course in Chicago is the closest we actually get to the origin story. The pace car should be A police car.
