Dude, thanks so much. I’m so glad I found that video. I’m just like you bro, I go out in my yard and hit balls everyday. I always found myself keeping my trail elbow stuck to my side causing me to not hit the ball pure with a divot. I watched the video about 3 times and have been practicing. My ball striking has been so pure and I’m getting effortless power! Preciate ya big dawg! Keep up the grind!
Dude... there is no way you should put Danny Maude 3rd in this list... Rick should be third by a looooong shot. He can barely hold a swing together for 18 holes let alone teach anyone how to do it.
I’m ranking them based on which video you should watch in order. Not about which golfer is better😂but don’t hate on Rick he held his own against Grant not too long ago
Wouldn't it be a lot easier if you didn't have to control the face at all? Do people really think that after ~1000 years of R&D that we still need to manually control the clubface? Do you think pros are doing this when they're swinging at 100+ mph and they do it perfectly almost every time? The idea of that is simply ridiculous. The golf club is not a mindless stick with a lump of metal on the end. It's actually an incredible tool and marvel of engineering that can propel the golf ball farther and straighter than any other human powered device. And it's fun too! Well, if you're using it properly it is, if you're not, it's incredibly frustrating.
How do you define "using it properly"? Is controlling the swing path and face part of that? The pros spend thousands of hours practicing so they do that without having to think about it. I'm also not sure what you mean by the golf club is not some mindless stick with a lump of metal on the end...that's exactly what it is. Just because some clever engineering went into designing and building the club doesn't change that fact.
@@jgallone Well, there's is definitely a way to use it that makes it work and the way most everyone uses it that makes it very difficult. If you use it properly the golf club itself will do 90% of the work for you. All you have to do is give it some power and hang on. The engineering in a golf club is invisible to average user and most only discover it on accident when they hit that one shot when they're not thinking and everything goes right and the ball screams off the face straight and far. Once you understand how and why a golf club is designed the way it is and how to use it properly it's totally amazing and you'll have a great appreciation for the genius of it's design.
@@all-four-inches Of course you CAN but then you're putting a variable into the equation that doesn't need to be there. Just imagine how cool it would be if you could just depend on the face to do what it's supposed to without you actively controlling it ... That would leave you the ability to just swing it as fast as you can.
Hello, we are Galileo sports, a well-known brand of golf net. We like your video very much. May I ask if we can send you a golf net of our home? Can you shoot a video and send it to RU-vid? We are very willing to cooperate with you
Stuart cartwright from good golf coaching has a video xplaining how this can be done naturally.thinking shallowing as a seperate move has caused many amateurs to start early extension
Looks good... it'll just get better with consistent practice... keep in mind the legs are involved in helping you rotate and generate power... passive legs means you're arms will be MORE active.. which translates to less ball control
Have you looked into Marcus Eldbad?? He's got a couple great ones for you. Dude is 50 ish, still hits it over 400 yds, very little effort. Anyways, best to ya
Well not great it could definitely use work most importantly for you don’t look up instantly keep ur eyes on the ball during contact and do not stand up that’s why ur falling back when u finish also think of it during ur swing as swinging around you spine that is a big helper for me but there is a lot more I could say to help it Js would take a lot of typing and I’m to lazy to do that rn
Also let the club do that work you have probably heard it a million times but trust your club the more you try to crush it the worse you habits will get
The thing that helps me with my pull hooks is to feel like I'm getting my right shoulder lower in my downswing. Feel like you're trying to point your right shoulder are the ball.
Pulling the ball? Camera angle may mean I don't see this as it is, but it looks to me that in the slow mo your shoulders may be open at impact. If you can delay the shoulders just a little you may be able to reduce the pull. The other feel is to swing your arms down and across your torso not pulling around your torso letting the body turn square you up. A pronounced lower body shift helps me do this. Having said all this your full speed shots shown go straight and I can't really see the problem. If as you seem to say it has started to happen later, then you may be chasing the extra distance you say you are getting by throwing the shoulders and they catch up to the hips too soon and as such are way ahead of the arms (again not shown in the shots shown in the vid). I say this because it is what I do when I am chasing distance the wrong way. I have to stop and practice lower body shift then down with the arms then turn (my fee we all have a different mental thought to get the feel)
