This theme was something unreal to hear as a kid. It feels like how I'd imagine the first human to experience being thrown into a black hole as the whole crew watches as it fades into phantomed strings.
The opening sequence before getting to Ridley sounds like the navigator room in the movie Forbidden Planet 1956 it’s real faint in the movie but it sounds very similar to the game
Not sure if the QasarCMI is working correctly on Mac. I can't edit any notes or even insert them individually on Page R. I may be misunderstanding things because the manual is a bit lacking in detail.
After huge life changes, new job, new home, I catch up with your channel and found out you released a whole ass album. Sounds fantastic man! You've come a long way and seeing your craft grow like this has helped inspire me.
Core memory unlocked! Not sure why this popped up in my head, but I had to go find it. This came with our Packard Bell bundle. The cutscenes hold up surprisingly well for being 30+ years old.
The first time I heard this song, it filled me with dread. It’s so out of nowhere, and during an action sequence no less, that it feels like it’s building up to a character’s death… …which, in true Courage fashion, provides a nice comedic whiplash when we see Gerbo banged-up, but alive.
Link: Hello? Nabooru: Link! Link, the Sorceress Sisters captured me. You gotta come back with the Master Sword and the Mirror Shield and defeat them so I can get outta here and seal Ganondorf away with the other Sages! Link: *W h o i s t h i s ?* Nabooru: LINK!!! (bangs phone on the receiver)
Kramer: What are these shapes? Why do we need these shapes? And why do they make them so small? Jerry: What's the punchline? Kramer: Well, it's all attitude.
"Why do they call it the Mushroom Kingdom? The castles are brick, the blocks are brick... they should call it the Brick Kingdom." That's gold, Mario, GOLD!!!
Link: Hello? Sheik: Link! Link, Ganondorf's taken over Hyrule. You gotta take the Master Sword and the hookshot and get over to the Forest Temple to awaken the sages before he gets all the pieces of the Triforce and becomes unstoppable. Link: *W h o i s t h i s ?* Sheik: LINK!!!
I have played so many hours of Mega Race on my Packard Bell. Life was so good back then Because remember.. I'm Lance Boyle and you would be too.. if you were me.
This is literally insane to see, I never really gave it too much thought on where the sound effects came from, let alone having it come from ONE person. Your work seems under appreciated(?) in my opinion. Thank you for making all those unique nosies way back when, especially since they were free. You paved the way for many artists and creators. Still can’t wrap my head around it, it was SICK learning about the origins behind it all. Have a good day man :) ❤
This is really, really good. If you had made this in the 90s, you would be famous. But anyone who still loves 90s industrial music will love this now!! ~ By the way, I love your channel name too--it is like it is straight out of a cyberpunk novel written in the 80s. ~ You have created a nice, and nicely nostalgic, atmosphere all around here.
Scanning: Organism: Serris Information: holy shit that's an angry fucking eel what the hell, nothing should make you that mad, calm down you elongated pisshead
