What if it’s cat deleted and it’s got the check engine light on, currently wanting to buy one and it has that. Is it bad for the truck ?

So in v4 mode the engine is starved of oil causing lifter collapse which then eats the cam and put metal throughout the whole engine and the only fix is a full rebuild and replace all oil components including the radiator because the oil cooler in in it,and the oil pump and all lines it's a 11k dollar problem, but on Amazon they sell a chip plugs into the obd2 port and disables the v4 mode. The failure happens as early as 30k miles.

Serious question brother, my wife is 5’4 & I’m 5’6 we own a 03 Chevy we want to lift it but I mean 6” is kinda tall .. now I ordered my 22x12 on 37x13.50 wanted to look into level kit or 3” lift…& yes we plan on northcal what is needed . What is your opinion on offset with a small lift.. I do enjoy that pos camber look but I also do plan on slapping a th400 nd adding tt next year
