Silverado with no cats & Flowmaster 40 exhaust 

Flomasters give that great muscle car sound

sounds good man I'm about to do a budget-friendly 3 in single and hollowing out the third catalytic converter. Then 3 in from that into a 40 series.

I’d love to see what this sounds like driving by, my 5.3 has no cats and a stage 1 cam, stock muffler and I like the sound but I’d love to see what it would sound like with just a new muffler.

I got shorty headers on mine with no mufflers and cats I’m thinking of this set up I love the tone of a flow master on a Chevy!

That sounds exactly the same as my 05 sierra 5.3 I have the cats but just 3 inch pipe coming out the side

My father has a 2008 silverado 1500 lt, that he is going to get new lifters for and have them installed, it already had the trans rebuilt, and he plans on giving it to me, and I plan on installing true dual exhaust on it with the flow master 40 series mufflers and deleting the catalytic converter Was originally planing on keeping a pontiac grand prix with a v6,and replacing the muffler and installing dual exhaust(not true dual tho)

did you put 02 sensors in the pipes or just keep them unplugged? I'm putting headers & xpipe but wasn't sure how the 02 sensors effected with cats gone and imagine engine light will be on?

I have cat removed plus no exhaust and it’s a bit to loud. What do you recommend to silence it just a bit. Would a flow master make it louder or would it help
