I have lost a lots of time trying to figure out what goes wrong with the diesels after 2008. My 2018 Chevy Duramax just stopped running going down the interstate. I was 110 mile from home, it would crank over but not fire off. I had the tow truck drop it off at one of the best known diesel shops about 10 miles from where I live. they had it running the next day for less than I paid for the tow. With all the new EPA things they have to put on thes diesel trucks , I would not take them back to the dealer, I called this diesel shop while I was waiting on the tow, explained what happend and they said they were about sure what failed and that they keep 3 of the control modules needed to fix it in stock. It was locater under the spare tire. If you are broke down near Mobile Alabama in a diesel truck call Andrew's Diesel in Spanish Fort Al. they know their stuff and have never riped me off and I have only use them 2 times. They are not just parts changers, they have workers there that are a cut above other shops. My son-in-law had his diesel truck at the dealership for 7 weeks before they got it fixed only for him to take it back 3 week later when the dealership rebuilt transmission went out on it again. Good luck getting it fixed, I also watch C. Farmer and have changed out one pigtale on # 7 injector myself thanks to C. Farmer showing us how to do it.
NO WORTH .....The last one of those that I pulled out was a nightmare 43 foot long and 100 foot tall...it looked like a damn sailboat against wind slowing down my truck...what a waste of fuel and time ...regular pay 1.78 a mile..no worth
@williamsanchez3462 I will never pull a park model. Not worth the strain on your truck. If it's over 30 ft travel trailer weighing over 10k it's. You can bet it's a park model.
@MichaelHuisinga going to Indiana yes because you are under dispatch. Going home. It depends. If your trucks gvwr is less than 10,001 lbs then no. If it's over that then technically yes.
I had a level 1 inspection in Texas on February 1, before the lawsuit. Trooper was under my truck FOR A WHILE. He came out and said glad you have stock exhaust or I would have to put you out of service.
Well it's here to stay. I hate it. I've spent a lot of money on mine. I wouldn't worry diesel will not be manufactured after 2035 according to California dot man.
Good to see another video from you... I hope to run into you someday when you deliver in west katy tx... im15 miles west of west katy... I'm going to figure out the hight of my 5th wheel to be able to haul rv's... Once I figure out the hight I'm going to have a shop weld a base for me...
@easttexaspatriotsunitedsta4932 sorry about that. Been sorta out of it since my truck went down. They about the same. The ones I was talking about in my last video was the small multi haul units they were putting out as single haul for very cheap.
Economy crashed even the big truck frieght is cheeper than 2008. This why i got out of trucking 12 yrs ago with all the commy federal laws their plan is to crash the economy. Your govt hates you. And loves big business its about donations you scratch my back i scratch yours. Save your freedom buy small business.
@chevyman30504 thank you. Just shoot me an email when you ready. Follow my FB page. Semper Fi Custom Designs. I've thought about it. Gotta learn what wood to use and the oils
I live outside Nashville the only thing the dealers are selling are the baby campers. The lots are loaded with them, guessing they can't get them moved by the multi haul guys fast enough so they are dumping them on single pull. Problem is somebody will haul them. I got out over a year ago more money in courier than rv hauling and I'm in my own bed every night.
Yeah..... ive been leased onto indiana transport for about 4 months now right when i started they we're paying 1.70 to MN for a 17 foot travel trailer now 2 weeks ago i seen there were paying 1.50 for the same trailer, i love the job but im not gonna do it for FREE!!!!
For what i have seen it’s only the 17ft travel trailers that’s are 1.25 .. anything over that’s is paying normal but the rate did drop 9 - 10 cents a Mile .. think they trying to push those out before they post the bigger campers just got to be on the load board and get normal rate load or call in a closed mouth don’t get fed … but ain’t moving shit for 1.25 😂
What’s a good rate to do it I’m in the works of getting everything I did trying to get yours a c framers stuff I got the gps today got a 91 gallon fuel tank next is the 5th wheel
Are there any other loads on the board that pay more? Or are they mostly 1.25. I planed on signing on with Indiana Transport, but not for that rate. I may go with some other RV Transport company.
How are they changing the rates ? They already getting half of four dollars a mile. Talk to the dealers i already have and asked em what they get charged ... Over four dollars a mile.
@easttexaspatriotsunitedsta4932 that's the way these big companies do. Either pull it or leave. For every one person that walked out the door 2 more are coming in.
The company i applied for said they had a waiting list on trailers for multi haul . i hope i don't get up there and they tell me all loads are 1.25. i'll just have to drive my truck into a lake. i got insurance. lol
Too many people get into rv hauling that treat it like a gig instead of a actual job. Many don't last very long, but there is a never ending supply that keep coming and drive the $ down.
I used to haul RVs for people that were flipping them and getting $2 per mile, you can also do boats and cargo trailers with insurance and your truck you can put an ad in craigslist and OfferUp . I hope you do well in whatever you do
Combination. I believe they're getting those multi haul loads they split before putting loads up...and some factories are still shut down I'd imagine. I can't believe folks are taking those loads for that
Hey, with all these people getting into homesteading all the city, Slickers start making chicken coops there’s a real good markup on those as well as cutting boards you’ll make a lot of money, rabbit, hutches, dog houses just a suggestion my friend
Hi I try to follow you both and thinking of doing rv transport . Nice to have some friends you can count on to give you so kind of help treeycason trucking
I had a 2012 and my CP4 pump went out, not fun and expensive. If you want to check the easy things first check your fuses. There is one in there that will stop the truck from starting. Highly unlikely but it's worth a shot for 10 minutes of your time. When my CP4 pump went out my mechanic bought a new cp4 pump and put it in the truck. He didn't do anything else and managed to get the truck to run for a few seconds on starting fluid. The next guy I took it to wouldn't use that pump because it said it might have filings in it. I'm in Canada but if you want to pay for the shipping I will give you that pump. It's sat on a shelf for 6 years but you're welcome to it if you think it will work for you.
Are you allowed to adjust the 5th wheel hitch on the rv to fit a fifth wheel...??? Mine sets a little lower and I'm thinking I have to have it raised about 8" to accommodate the 5th wheel rv's... My 5th wheel is welded on a platform that is bolted on the frame of my truck/ van
Good loyal friends are hardtop come by... I lost 2 of my good friends within a 2 year period due to cancer... I'm glad you're doing well and remember that there are always speedbumps on the road to success...!!!!
