There are a lot of amazing singers. And people can have their favorites for many different reasons. I’ve been listening to popular music since the 1950’s, and I’ve heard many great singers and groups. There has never been a singer I listened to every day until Angelina. She’s been part of my day for the past four or five years. She can sing any genre, and you know it’s Angelina right from the start. Just a joy.
Yes, IMO she sounds better than Adele when covering her. I'd suggest you react to her black and white studio recording of Easy On Me from when she was 15. Accompanied on piano by Rob Christie, the artistic director of her record label Republic Records' LA branch. Do that one and be totally blow away again. I could see it, I really could. I’ll reserve judgement until I hear it because Adele has some pipes on her too and can SING, but something about AJ singing the way she did at 8-9 and even what I heard at 15, it’s kind of like mind-boggling!! Thanks for tuning in as always friend!! 💙✌️
@@RapidReactionz Have you heard her at 15 ?? She was 13 on Bohemian Rhapsody at AGT The Champions, and 12 when she performed "Shield". The rest I have seen you react to is older performances I think 🙂

Thank you for this enjoyable reaction video. I've been a long time fan of Angelina since she was 7 years old. What I find so impressive about this performance is not only her maturity as a singer but also as a person. While the host was using sarcasm with a condescending tone talking to an 8 year old that English is not her mother tongue, Angelina was very well mannered, professional, and composed. When the performance ended and the host returned with the plush toys, Angelina's sight was focused on the host and didn't assume that they were meant for her. When they were presented to her, Angelina's first reaction was to thank the host and embrace her while most children her age would have been focused on the toys and would have wanted to inspect them first. Very well done Angelina and thanks to her family for a well raised child.

Felt like Rosie O’Donnell was sarcastic and it came off as disrespectful imo - like I know they say “til the fat lady sings” but that lady ain’t singing nothing. Great reaction as always 🙂 We don't grow up bilingual in Norway, but nowadays we're introduced to English right from the get go in school, which means from age 6. 20 years ago we'd start at age 10-11, so we're getting there. But as her grandmother is Iranian and her grandfather was Japanese, I guess they spoke a lot of English in her home. Even at 10-11, I think it’s really cool. Our kids aren’t forced to do any types of foreign languages really except for 2 years in high school (might be 4 now, but still). Now, I think China is too hardcore about it 😂 but I think grade school age is OK. 👌

Better than Adele? Depends on our taste. Both are great IMHO. Adele singing “Sky-fall” is in my opinion one of the greatest vocals ever. Unmatched. I’ll give AJ the nod on every other cover of Adele’s music that Angelina does.(close to 9) that I know of.😊

I don't think you have seen it yet, but you should check out her doing I Who Have Nothing at 6 years old in a recording studio. She is such a gift to all of us at every age.
Angelina was already early 8 wgen she sang I Who Have Nothing in the studio. This can be determined by comparing the state of her permanent upper teeth to dated references, such as her NGT performances. And it's not possible that these were still her baby teeth, because we have earlier sharp footage that shows that the right central incisor was the first of her upper teeth which she lost. But in that video, the adjecent lateral incisor was missing, so it's a later video, and the central one must be the permanent tooth that replaced the one she lost first.

Ok, new sub. My suggestion would be to go to his page and learn more about him. Bottom line, he spent years in pain, misdiagnosed. He had undetectable lyme disease. But his rabbit hole is crazy. I would suggest Sick Boi next. He doesn't fit into one genre. Renegades will support you. Enjoy your game! I'm more a college football fan, but I'm always there for the Super Bowl.

Here’s my interpretation of the hood in MG1. The hooded person is the masses, play (literally playing guitar) the game blindly. Ren himself represents two different things. 1. He is the game or the people controlling the game. He has the blind masses all tied up. He controls them. He decides when it stops and start again. He’ll roughen them up from time to time. 2. Ren, as the one singing, is also a witness, exposing the game. When Ren gives eyes to the hooded guitar player, he makes the masses aware of the game. And as we gain awareness, the game or the people controlling the game have less power over us. We can decide not to play, or play on our terms. We can use the tools we have to derail or redirect it. The self-immolation at the end, for me, shows that the money game is basically self destruction. Or maybe that the awareness will lead to its self destruction. I love this trilogy so much ❤
And I think that, if you’re going to do Kujo Beat Down, it’s a good thing you watched Hi Ren, Sick Boi and Money Game 1/2/3 before you do. You will get more references. You might also want to watch the 35 minutes video Ren did to explain why the song Sick Boi had been removed from all streaming platforms before you do KBD. Otherwise, you won’t understand all the animosity 😂
Someone probably explained by now, but Ren has Lyme disease. He was misdiagnosed for almost 10 years. The healthcare professionals he saw gaslit him a bunch, told him it was in his head. He was given so much unnecessary and ineffective medication, while the Lyme disease was eating him up. He is doing much, much better, but he is chronically ill. He still experiences a lot of fatigue and pain. I think it’s a miracle he isn’t closed off and bitter. He is a genuine beautiful human being ❤
If you really want to dive into his personal story, you can watch his “Chapters” on his YT channel. I think there are 8 of them. It’s an emotionally draining story, but it made me listen to his music in a different way.

Great reaction again fella. Just a small tip. Don't use your mouse to navigate the video. Use the space bar to pause and replay and the left arrow key to go back 5 secs. That way the transport graphic won't be displayed. Some of the lyrics were covered up in pt 2. Still loved your reaction buddy.
Yeah, someone else mentioned this as well. Unfortunately, RU-vid hasn’t discovered the year is 2024 and I tried to use their pop-out player which doesn’t allow the keyboard shortcuts without activating the window (eg hovering) 😭 Will have to go back to the old method, but I liked how I could drag the pop out all over the place!
