Hi I tried this with exact cup measurements. 2/3 cup I measured as 157 ml butter. But I was not able to make the big rectangle and do the cookie cutter shapes. The dough crumbled .I had to cling wrap as a rectangle bar and place them in fridge. After 30 min, I took them out,cut into small squares. What could have gone wrong with the shaping? Can you let me know? Taste was good though.
Thanks for your attempt, and the question! From your explanation, it looks like you made the dough in correct consistency. The dough will crumble, but while making it as a layer, you need to gently tap, bring together and form the layer. Then it will be easier to use any shape cutter to make shapes likes shown. I hope this will be helpful, please give a try and let me know your experience. cheers. 😊
It will be about 158gm, will be best to use melted butter for easy mixing. I hope this helps, pl give a try and share you experience, will look forward to it. ☺👍
yes, you may use the salted butter. when using salted butter, you can skip the salt as well! I hope this helps in trying these yummy eggless soft biscuits at home. cheers. 😊
Yes! Instead of condensed milk, you can mix 1/4 cup of sugar with 2 egg whites and beat until they become thick & frothy (about 3 minutes). Rest of the recipe can be followed as is for these cookies. I hope this will be helpful, let me know your experience with these cookies! 😊
I made these biscuits today. I made a mistake by adding without measure the butter. Which lead in flat biscuit 😂. But it’s yum and melts in mouth. Tip: for some who like sweet biscuits should add more sugar. Because its more like salty biscuits.
Simple, 1cup flour will be 120gm and the same for sugar it will be 200gm. So based on the quantity of preparation, the ingredients proportions can be measured accordingly before starting the process. I hope this helps. Happy baking! 😊
I have already shared the recipe, here it is-- ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E3t863bLOx0.html I will look forward to hear your experience, please share after you try this recipe. 😊
Melted butter will be best for this, but ghee can be used as an alternate. I will look forward to hear your experience, please share after you bake these. 😊
