I started this channel to give anyone who needs it access to information that's only really available at expensive private schools.
I know this from running an expensive and elite private school myself. Now, I want to make sure any student can see that same info.
In 2024, we'll be uploading condensed A Level subject videos for a wide range of subjects made by teachers who got A*s themselves. We also have weekly live exam questions/tip walkthroughs for maths, science, and economics.
All of the above as well as TSA, interview advice, mock exam papers are available free on our site examrizz.com. Join our community and let us know what you want to see next!

Is psychology, English literature, biology and chemistry a good combo? ( btw i have no idea what i want to do as a career i just know that I want something high paying and to do with biology or the medical field for mental health or something since it’s something im passionate about. Basically i want to do something either about plants, animals or psychology 😭 also at GCSE I got just A and B grades)
Hi I need your advice I'm taking CS,PHYSICS AND MATHS Cuz I'm interested in a number of fields, but I'm not so sure about taking them as long term sustainable and reliable careers... So I concluded that the fields I'm currently most interested about, are Engineering, Something computer related, Or just something mathematical or logical or technical in general, So I thought CS, PHYSICS AND MATHS (I'm also planning to add a soft subject particularly a language subject,I think maybe english or Urdu, since Urdu is my native language, also advice me on which of these 2 languages would be best to select..)would be the best combo in A levels, I have had physics and maths before in IGCSE,but I'm doing CS for the first time... So I'm currently having troubles understanding computer science, and the COURSE IS SO HARDDD.....even for my classmates who did CS in IGCSE!!! My computer teacher said Maybe I should not take COMPUTER science in A levels and can still take computer science as a degree course in the future, She said if I'm planning to do bachelor's in computer science, then I don't necessarily need to do computer science in a levels, she said I should go for physics and maths and some third other subject other than computer science IF I THINK I WON'T GET GOOD GRADES IN COMPUTER SCIENCE, I mean it's honestly better to have good grades in soft subjects rather than bad grades in the hard subjects... She said I can still pursue computer science in bachelor's with only physics and maths(and a third sub) in a levels, she said because in bachelor's they'll teach me computer science FROM scratch...(I live in Pakistan btw) So....I just wanted to ask, If I don't take cs in a levels, just physics and maths with a third subject(which might be a soft subject I'm not sure yet) I can still further study CS like in bachelor's and onwards.. cuz 'theyll teach me from scratch' But I'm just worried, what if the unis require a CS subject in a levels to get that bachelor's CS degree or any other CS degree?? Please help me out(also advice on what should I take as my 3rd subject if I ended up leaving Computer science, plus advice on which language sub would be most beneficial...) thx
Could you please explain me the following :) in Q 37) it says that they 90km on average. Why do you subtract the 30km bus traveling then? Also, I viewed the Q like this: Since the average 90 km are already walked, they will take the bus for the remaining 30km ( I know that this is incorrect, but could you explain me why?) Thank you so much!
Hello. Great video. I’m just wondering how my GCSEs affect my chances of E&M at Oxford. I got 9887777776. But I am doing Maths Further Maths Economics and History for A-Level so what can I do to increase my chances
I am taking Maths,Economis,IT(Information Technology) & Law in my A-Levels. I am literally stressing about whether I have taken the "Right Subjects" as I dont know what I wanna do at University Level. Plz Guide!!
Hi!! I'm currently picking my a levels and ideally i want to do psychology at uni. right now, i know i want to do english literature, psychology, and either classical civilisations or biology. I know that biology might make my application more competitive and allow me to apply for more unis as some ask for 2 sciences (like ucl or cambridge) although, just taking psychology is fine for many unis as well. However, classical civilisations is an essay subject which is also helpful for psychology and i know i would enjoy it and do well in it as i find it really interesting. What would you recommend for psychology? i really don't know right now.
lol im also just watching this video and im not a professional but those are 2 facilitating subjects (lit/history) which looks rlly good for uni. and I think those skills are honestly more valuable than the ones you'd get from law/politics
If I want to study Psychology in university. And I’ve choose Psychology, English Literature, History and Business, and I’m also going to do Russian because it’s my second language, will these be enough for me? Or should I replace something with Maths? Thank you in advance for your answer :)
This video is very helpful. I’m looking into studying marketing or journalism and right now my only “for sure” is Spanish. I have to choose between art and economics and literature or sociology. I’m not sure which two subjects out of those four which would suit me better.
hii i found ur vid vv useful i put down my options as maths biology and psychology idk if its a good combo its random but i have no clue what i want to do yet
I've been enjoying all subjects in my igcse and I still have three exams to go , in my country i must take 8 o levels and travelling aboard requires 3 at least, I've decided biology chemistry and psychology will be fine, my grades in both biology and chemistry were A* in beginning but some topics weren't clear and i started getting all B , and I've got better in physics and getting A* or A even i used to hate it now i truly enjoy it but I also always get B in math even I enjoy it and like it ( i used to hate it)and my teacher said i must take math beside physics so I feel lost and don't know what to choose For now all I'm sure about is psychology, so could you recommend other two A level subjects beside psychology? ( I'll take combined science, art and psychology as an Olevel subject) Also could you recommend which board is more comfortable , Cambridge Edexcel or Aqa ? I take all Edexcel and don't like the way it's set up, only take physics Cambridge and I feel good with it
First, board doesn't matter at all, so just choose whichever you prefer the exams for. Your teacher is right that you should take maths if you want to apply for STEM at university. There are so many courses that require maths. Do you know what you would like to study? If you are not at all interested in social sciences or humanities at university, then it makes sense to choose two sciences (biology, chemistry, physics, maths) to go along with psychology. Good luck in your remaining exams!
Heyy ! The subjects i decided to take are Biology, physics, chemistry and physical education....is thiss combination oky or should i change it and if i should what are your suggestions ???
Hi, I’m looking to do Biology, Forensic Science and Statistics in September. I’m hoping to do a biomedical science degree at uni afterward. Is this a good combination. I did consider maths but I’m no good at it and it would stress me out so I chose the easier route with stats. Also my uni I want to go to includes stats as a subject to get in!
No inherent problem with that combination. You will probably have to do a lot more wider reading for econ/pol/phil that other students will get to do as part of their A Levels. I'd usually advise taking an essay subject as PPE is very essay based. Any reason for not choosing a humanity subject?
Thank you I'm not yet sure of what I want to do, I picked those subjects because I am also thinking of doing chemical engineering which requires maths, chemistry and another science I will choose economics and history or geography if I decide to do economics in uni
I chose business math and art but I want to do physics in Uni wtf is wrong with me am I fucked forever now because I don’t like business definitely not going to do math major and art absolutely not I’m 6months in help
Physics is probably out of the question due to lack of physics/further maths but you still have plenty of good options! If you want to go a STEM angle, earth sciences and some psychology courses works with your combination. And of course, lots of really interesting options on social science/humanities side. Undergrad is really not a bit deal - don't feel locked into something because of 3 years of your life. The point of your undergrad if you are going straight into a career is just to show employers you are capable of doing the work. If you care a lot about studying physics, then just do well in a STEM BSci and apply for a related masters course somewhere!
Hey, i want to do either a finance or engineering related degree, what combo would be better: math eng physics and possibly further math if needed or math physics econ which to be honest id rather avoid because i really enjoy and am good at eng lit, im just worried that eng would disadvantage me into top russel group unis (not ox or cambridge)preferably UCL or kings or lse
For finance, all three of those unis (particularly LSE) has a strong preference for further maths students. If you take maths+further maths, then the English is an advantage if anything. It sets you apart from other typical combinations and shows that you have a strong writing background as well. For engineering, you basically need further maths anyway, even if they don't explicitly state it in admissions requirements. You would really struggle without it on the actual course. For finance courses, it doesn't help that much to have an economics A Level - it's there more to show admissions an essay subject. Maths, further, english, physics sounds an excellent choice for either finance/engineering. Just make sure you do a lot of wider reading and keep up with your current affairs knowledge. I'll be posting a personal statement essentials guide soon where you can see the type of stuff you should be reading outside A Level.
Hi thank you for the video, Im torn on A levels as I keep changing my mind and don’t have a definite career path for the future but I have chosen maths, biology, history and health and social do you think these go well together? And does it leave enough options open for me to change my mind?

3 years late but the answer to the third question is not correct (I've checked on mathway) It should be I = 4/13 (1/2 (e^2x.sin(3x)) - 3/4 (e^2x.cos)3x))) + C I think you should have put u = sin(3x) : )
