The church is not political. We do not invite you to sign up for any political party nor do we tell you for whom to vote or what policies or laws to support. The church is not political because our mission transcends all the political platforms, campaigns, and agendas with all their politics. Our mission is to preach Christ who died for our sins, was buried, and raised from the dead the third day. We invite you to come to Him and be added to His church, to give yourself to Him, to follow Him who can save your soul and give you eternal life. In the end it will not matter how many we win to our political preference but how many we win to Christ will be of eternal consequence. (I did not personally write these words but wanted to share).
Freedom of Religion gives us the ability to win as many souls to Christ as possible. GOD bless our Constitution. Freedoms must be protected preferably at the ballot box, but sometimes unfortunately by the sword. Christians who are ignorant on how to protect these freedoms are doomed to fail in winning as many souls as possible. Educating congregations to the Word of God yet leaving them without the ability to discern the truth after they leave a sermon, makes no sense. Abortion is literally a political platform for one party. I agree The Church does not need to tell people what to think, but how to think as it pertains to the Bible. I do like this podcast and I guess I'm a bit of a stickler for terminology but viability of a fetus is defined by the ability to survive outside of the womb with modern medical care. The conflict arises with is this definition at 21 weeks where maybe 1% survive or is it a few weeks later when the survival rate is closer to 60%? Either way IMO both of those are way too developed whether it's 21 weeks or 24 weeks. Democratic Christians prioritize how we treat the least of those amongst us. Some take the multiple biblical references of how being rich is a sin literally. Many democratic Christians have a deep mother Theresa type of philosophy that says a person should never keep more than they need and it is their life mission to take care of people., They are the ones out there feeding, housing and clothing people and they understand they need the governments help, they can't do it alone. Some democrats feel that abortion is mostly wrong but don't equate it to murder, at least not during the very early stages. They recognize the verses that imply the soul is infused with the body during the first breath of air, as when God created Adam he became a living soul when God breathed the breath of life into him and the other scripture that if a man attacks a woman and causes her to miscarry he must pay a fine but if she loses her life then it's life for a life, eye for an eye, limb for limb. Also if a person believes abortion is literally murder then there can be no exceptions at all, murder is never okay.
The nuances of THIS election cycle is more than conservative values vs liberal values. One particular party under their candidate, Trump the past 8 years and Trump for the past 8 years spews hate, not love, is utterly divisive, has no regard for democracy, displays no regard for others unless they agree with him, is stamping his name on bibles and marketing it and cannot articulate when he has asked God for forgiveness. Also according to Trump we wont even have to" worry " about voting anymore if elected. Very telling.. As Pastor Hal said we may not agree on everything but morals respect and love and helping as many people as we can as Christians, as human beings should be a non negotiable. Seems that men are the authority on abortion now. Do they really understand the trauma of an unexpected pregnancy, the stress of taking care of the baby often without a father present, the pain of being a child of parents who never really wanted them. There are too many variables to enforce a one size fits all abortion ban. Using the Bible for evidence of abortion sin is not biblical. It only causes more problems and makes people turn away from God. Women had abortions throughout history during biblical times yet it is not directly mentioned. God told the Israelites to kill all their enemies including babies, King Herod had all the baby boys killed during the same time Jesus was born. All children go back to God, some may be better off than being unwanted with no real families. I think Christians should stand up against the sexualization of women, the lack of proper sexual education, make contraceptives free, and teach men to take responsibility for pregnancies and support abstinence until after marriage. Counselling and adoption resources should always be free and available to all women before an abortion decision.

That's right. In our State, therapists wrote to lawmakers asking to be excluded from this. It was poised to drag young people's therapist into the decision for any person seeking such procedures. It's gotten pediatricians and School counselors in a heap of trouble!

Some of the videos of the medical center of progress that the female presidential candidate has tried to hide and prosecuted the medical center of progress for were repulsive . Planned parenthood is selling the aborted babies organs which is also the illegal practice of organ trafficking disguised as “ medical research” . I wish the videos exposing the evils were used in pro-life ads and then there would be no question as why people vote pro-life. Christian’s are also called to expose evil and take care of the children and widows. We should not hide or support the information on those atrocities being hidden from the people.

I was actually complaining to my wife today that over 30% of self-described Christians don't vote and GFC doesn't speak to this or so I thought...unit I just watched this video. The world is on fire outside of the walls of GFC and it's the Christian Elitists (who are sinners) that say "I won't vote for "candidate" because he's a sinner". LOL. In many ways, the "purity" voters are part of the problems. Black Churches speak to politics all of the time. Without mentioning a candidates name, we can certainly say "I can't support a party that favors changing the gender of children" or "I can't support a party that favors censorship" or "I can't support a party that favored closing down churches during Covid". I've worked for the major news outlets for over 30+ years as a freelance photographer (Cameraman). I've had to bite my tongue and pray to the Lord from me reacting to narrative news or opinion news from "Asignment Dest and Field Producers creating stories and twisting words around. As a Christians, watching News outlets and registration there narrative. We have to be careful and not fall into the "pipe piper". Yes use your conviction and with God's word direct you to who you should vote for. I belive the Church should talk about this a little more...
3 equal in 1 makes zero sense. They are not 3 seperate either. The Fathe is the True God. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are apart of the Father. So if 2 are apart of 1 then they are not truly seperate. They are 1, because they are apart of 1. The Holy Father.
